| June 30, 2001- Jared and Juliana are doing good. Earlier this month Jared seemed to show signs that he might be getting GVHD again. If you did get GVHD again he would be on another Med for about nine months with a long tapper to get him off it. The doctor took some precautions and had him start the medicine and schedualed a skin biopsy. A week later we were told he was negative for GVHD. That was a good sign. Soon Jared will have some blood tests done to see how the graft is going I will update when we have the test and its results. Until then we thank you for all your prayers and support. Chris (Dad) |

| June 24, 2001- Juliana turned 6. Had a great party in the park. Nice cloudy day so Jared could be outside. The doctors do not want him in the sun much at all. Everyone had a great time. My parents came over from Seattle. Bridgets family attended. Overall was a great time. |
| March 21, 2002- It has been a while since we last updated this site. Sorry. Mostly everything has been the same. We go to the doctors once a month and Jared gets a check up. Juliana is in 1st grade-she loves here school- Jared is now on a taper schedual on his medicine and in about 3 months he will be off his immuno-suppressent meds. Thats when we should get the finial word on if the bone marrow transplant was a success. Overall Jared is doing great. He it growing faster and turning into a little boy. He kinda missed out on being a infant and toddler. Well we will check back and let you know how things are going with the tapper. Chris (Dad) |
| August 17, 2002- Well Jared is still on his taper on his meds. He will be done the end of October of this year. Jared is enrolled in prechool and starting the begining of September. He is alowed to go swimming, go to the playground and pretty much everything a normal kid can. We went camping for the first time in a few years. We had lots of fun! Jared is now about 36LBS and a little over 3ft tall. Well we will write more soon. |
| September 2002 - Jared started Prechool. He loves his school. He now has friends other than family or Neighborhood kids. |
| June 10 2003 - Today I look back at what me and my family have been through. I can only say thank God for getting us through it all. I have felt every feeling from complete saddness to Ultimate Joy. I have seen my Son inches from death to my Daughter stepping up to save her brothers life to my son and daughter beening the healthiest in the house. I have felt the strain such ordeals can bring to a family and a relationship. I want to thank everyone for all of your support from the depths of my heart. I want to thank my Wife for being there with me from the thick to the thin. there is no other person I would want to be by my side. I want to thank my Daughter for being there for her brother as well as for me. I want to thank God for helping Jared get well. |
| April 2003 - We took a trip to seattle to meet with Dr Ochs. The appointement went well. They took some test to see if Jared should start his Immunizations. In two weeks we will find out the results. |

| June 13 2003 - Juliana had a birthday party at our home. Yikes Lots of kids, chips everywhere only games can control this crowd. But we lived through it. |
| June 15 2003 - Happy Fathers Day!!! I am the Happiest Father in the world. I have two great kids and a Great Wife! Getting ready to go to the Baltimore Maryland IDF Confernce on June 18th. Going to be fun. |
