Campfire Angel Bill, his wife and two children were vacationing at Big Bear Lake in California, near Apple Valley. His wife was cooking on the open fire and Bill took several photos of the family sitting by the fire while he read the Bible, then prayed asking God to protect them and give them a safe vacation. |

Up roared five men on motorcycles; one pulled a gun demanding that they put their billfold and purse on the ground. Bill dropped the camera. Suddenly, the men left as quickly as they had arrived, seemed frightened and did not take the money. It was not until they returned home and had their photos developed did they realize that the men must have seen the protecting angel, unnoticed by the family. |

Cloud Angel A couple flying for their first airplane ride, on their honeymoon, took a whole roll of photos out the window of the plane. They were fascinated by the topside of clouds, so much like Cool Whip or Dairy Queen ice cream! |

The pilot announced on the intercom that they were flying into turbulence that would last about 20 minutes. The couple prayed aloud, "Oh, Lord protect us, send the angels of the Lord to hold this plane upright and keep us safe." Almost immediately, the choppy winds subsided. There was a second announcement: " It is amazing. The monitor showed turbulence for 20 minutes but it was over in 2!" Returning home, they found this photo when they picked up their prints. |

The attached picture of a car accident is one of several that were taken by a professional police photographer. After developing the pictures of this accident scene, the officer found what looked like to be some type of a figure in one particular picture. Thinking it was a problem with his camera or its film, he performed tests on both. They checked out PERFECTLY. Take a look.......the people in this car WALKED AWAY WITHOUT SO MUCH AS A SINGLE SCRATCH. THEY WERE NOT EVEN SHAKEN UP! |

| Two short (but powerful) examples of God's protection and intervention: |
| A few years ago, my cousin, Patty, was standing outside her car on a busy Houston freeway, looking under the hood. Another driver hit her car from behind, running her over with her own car. She knew the tires had gone over her and she was terrified. Instantly, people came running to help and a crowd gathered around her. Foremost in the crowd, right in Patty's face, was a lady who said, "Don't be afraid Patricia, everything will be fine." Patty didn't know her and certainly can't account for how she knew her name, other than by a miracle of divine protection. When Patty was examined at the hospital, she had only minor bruising. Our family believes that the protection and comfort Patty received that day were God sent. |
| Twenty or so years ago, my mother's lifelong friend was at an extremely low point; she had just divorced and was trying to move her and her young son into a new apartment. She had no one to help her and, as she struggled with a large piece of furniture that she just couldn't handle, she cried out in frustration, "God, I can't do this!" Behind her, she heard a young man offer a hand. At first, she was a little startled because the area was wide open and she had never seen him coming; she was also a little embarrassed because, if she had, she certainly wouldn't have lost her composure. The gentleman was very sympathetic and moved the remaining belongings. Back outside, she turned to thank this young man and he was gone...she looked around and knew that, unless he was hiding behind a parked car, he couldn't have made it out of sight that quickly. I think this is a beautiful example of how God cares about our struggles and despair and He want to relieve us. |
