WHY PRAY FOR HIM? Mike Tyson is widely known for his infamous 'bite,' in which he bit off a piece of Evander Holyfield's ear during a heavy-weight boxing match. Tyson has a consistent record of saying some extremely bizarre things. Tyson has also had ties to the cult of Islam. What Tyson needs just as desperately as anyone else is the peace and heart-changing love of Jesus Christ. Let us pray for just that. PLEASE JOIN US IN PRAYER Lord God in Heaven, we come before you now to pray for Mike Tyson. It seems as though he has had many trials and tribulations in life, and it looks as though he is confused and depressed. Lord, we ask that you would have mercy on Mike Tyson, and bless Him with the reality of Your peace and your amazing truth. We pray that Tyson would come into contact with people who reflect Your truth, rather than people who reflect darkness. Let Tyson understand that Jesus died for his sins, and that he would accept Christ as his Savior. Thank you for hearing our prayer Lord. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen. |
