is the only planet in our system to support life as we know it.

is named for the Roman god of war. Also known as the Red Planet.
Jupiter
is a giant ball of gas and liquid with no known solid surface.
Saturn
is second in size only to Jupiter and is known for its rings.
Uranus
is thought to have a solid core and oceans of water and ammonia.
Neptune
travels once around the sun every 165 Earth years.
Pluto
is the furthest planet from the sun and is thought to have a surface of frozen methane.
