The Legacy - A case study

I can’t remember the exact time it happened but I do know it took me by my hand and gently left me standing perturbed at the intersection of Mid-Valley and Seputeh. The bus overtook our car, stopped for diesel then continued south. I remember reading the bus drivers lips as he sped past muttering "Saya laknat tapi engkau kinzir" directly translated meaning "I’m useless but you are a pig". I tried to contemplate this statement using cyberspace but alas yahoo only managed to dispence this piece of advice "ZERO ITEMS FOUND".

All these years, and the there's that uncle of mine. YES! Uncle Pratap. His legacy of depravity had struck society right in the arse namely the bus driver. He did once mention this to me at Abu Santorian’s circumsission.

And I quote:

"Boy, just look at society today. Blind as bats the lot of them.

Just don't wear better prescription lenses, but choose to illuminate your innerself with kerosene."

The FUCKER obviously misses the whole point of this arguement. What little I managed to decipher from the above is that society is caving inward while at the same time we need better torchlights namely "DOLPHIN ONES". Basically don’t listen to a senile uncle’s jibberish but do so later in life but when they are in their prime. My mom also prohibits me from wearing slippers to school, the reason was because they kind of don’t look nice in public, compared to shoes. I agree, so these days I just wear a plactic bag on my head as a sign to non-believers wishing to offer me a burnt offering from the tree of life.

I end this little piece of life’s wondrous twists with a quote of Uncle Pratap that really touched me when I was nine.

And I quote:

"But Boy! don’t you ever touch my daughter, I‘ll slice your balls off and feed them to you with your spleen as a side dish and a touch of 'lea & perrins worchester sauce' for taste
