I was born on May 16th 1937. The first 4 years of my studies was at St. Mary's School Cheruvally. Then I moved to ChurchPark Presentation Convent Madras where my father was Major in the Indian Army. Then after a year he was transferred so I moved to St. Joseph's Convent Changanacherry in the boarding. I regularly took part in singing competitions for which I have received prizes. After 3 years I then moved again to Manimala School at St George's school so that I could stay at home with my grandfather, where I was for another 2 years. Later I joined St. Mary's school Kanjirapally where I did my 10th staying in the boarding, it was not far away from home. That summer the school had a drama called "Shajahan" and I participated in it. In my free time I learned cross-stitching. I was always interested in music, singing, and drama. I completed my inter mediate course at Assumption College Changanacherry, a two years course where I was in the college Ball badminton team. My father then retired from the army and joined the Indian railways in Bombay. Since he was in Bombay I joined for my degree there at Nirmala Niketan for a Homescience course. |
