| Take brinjal and cut it in four pieces but it should not be seperated. Preferably small brinjals are better. Then put it in salt water. Coconutshaving and ully arinjathu tobe varakkified. When it is brownish in colour put off fire and put chilly powder, correander powder and , Manjal podi and stir well till the pachamanam of the podikal dissappers. Then grind all these in a mixie and add salt. Then take the cut brinjal and mix well with the arappu. Put oil in the cheenachatty and put some kaduku and kariveppila then addsabola or small onion and vazhattify for some time and put brinjal and stir well till cooked well. Add valanpuli pizhinjathu before it is fully cooked. Now itis ready. U can add malliyila alo to taste.For 7 brinjal half coconut, one tablespoon mulakupodi, Mukkal tablespoon mallipodi, half teaspoon manjalpodi and other items add as pertaste. |
