RODAPre launcher image.
ANSYS Configuration
Following are the elements to setup the ANSYS run.
Installtion Dir.
The directory path in the user's m/c for ANSYS installtion. it should be a level up of the ANSYS installtion 'bin' directory.
Product
The user can select any one of the The ANSYS products viz. ANSYS Mechanical U (ANSYS), ANSYS Pre Processor (PREPPOST) and the Multi-physics (ANE3FL).
GUI style
This option will setup the Old or New look and feel of the ANSYS graphics window.
Work Dir.
The log files and roda input file (roda_in) are generated inside the working directory. So, the user can run the RODAPre processor analysis in different working directories for different analysis models.
Root Dir.
A root directory is the place where the code (all tcl files) for RODAPre application resides.It will depend on the individual places where the RODAPre code is extracted (installed) at the individual m/cs.
RODAPre package holds the following directory structure:
- RODAPre package extraction dir
- docs; launcher; and rodaPre
The "docs" directory contains the HTML documentation files. The "launcher" directory has a script called "roda_launcher.tcl". roda_launcher.tcl is a tcl script which can be executed by typing it's name on the command prompt. By executing this script a pop-up window will show up as shown in the launcher image on the top.
HTML Browser
It will have the path of the directory structure where the Netscape executable resides.
The launcher has a capability to check for the correct/wrong paths entered by the user.
