Janis Jubalts was born on August 24 1974 in Jelgava, Latvia.

He is BrainStorm’s guitarist, and is also known as Johnny U. White, Jubis and Magic.

His English name Johnny U. White is a translation of his real name: ‘Johnny’ is the English version of ‘Janis’, ‘U’ is pronounced like ‘Ju’ and ‘White’ is the English word for ‘balts’!

Janis got married in August 2000, and became a father in February 2000. Congatulations J !
