[Why Do I hate Salman Khan]
[Send your comments]
That was a good article. I would second your comments and suggestions in every form.
Though i would like to add a few more points to ur reasonable and logical , thought provoking conclusions.
First things first :
Your article doesnt seem to criticize the root of the problem, it gives me a feeling that only Salman is being targetted.
-Letz ban the drinks. When a person is drunk, he is in a half conscious and if he is making a mistake after getting drunk, then he cannot be the true culprit.
-Had the Government/police provideed justice to the road-side people, there might not hv been so much hue and cry.
Salman Khan is supposedly the GOD of bollywood. From the hundreds of crores of the population in India there are nearly 50% of the urban young population who admire him , who love him , who can do anything to get a glimpse of him (let alone talking to him). His acting skills are so-so , has an amazingly built up body and has until now(mind you , until now means a real life until now) has never played a negative role in any of his movies.
Our beloved janata has got a great way of thinking. The Heroes and Heroins of this world are given an image according to the role they play on the big screen. If the person is a robin hood on screen, he/she is a real hero in todays world.
Ok, i seem to have deviated a lot from the topic. The conclusion that i am trying to make here is these people are known to everybody in the world. They eat them and sleep them. Even the smallest mishap(i dont consider the current one small) is given such a huge picture that the media makes sure that the news runs for 100 days. The incident will die its own death without proper justice. Justice is blind.
Salman Khan has done a big mistake.
1st mistake - He was drunk - But all elite ppl drink. U and me sometimes laugh at someone if he/she doesnt drink.
2nd mistake - Rash driving after getting drunk.
3rd mistake - He killed so many ppl on the street. The spirit had taken full control of him.
4th mistake - He ran from the spot , instead of saving the injured.
Tell me one thing.
How many amongst us are bold enough not to do this ? Had we been Salman Khan on that day , what wud have u done ?
After killing the beloved members of some family , a person if he stays there in the middle of the night among such a emotionally struck crowd(already broken down in life - they wouldnt even know who is salman), they wud be thrown to pieces.
The other day my friend narrated an incident where he was pillion riding on his splendour with one of his friend. They were speeding on the ring road and due to mistake of the driver and a lonely young female on the street, he hit his bike straight into her with speeds of around 60kmph. You think he stopped to ask her "Can i help you". No, the mind stops working. It only says "ESCAPE". Suddenly, u start thinking about villagers, police, money and u run from the scene. You go home, relax, have a glass of water and then u think (probably) i shud hv helped her.
We are talking today of salman because, we know him big time. because we want to find solace from our daily troubles by continuously fighting against each other and blaming each other. If we pick up any newspaper, we will find many such incidents, but we dont talk of everything. Forget abt a few ppl on the street. Recently, due to a folly of a builder, there were 40 deaths. Such things get silenced immediately. Salman is known to general public and he is unpardonable(i dont say otherwise too).
Salman was also into trouble with the black buck shooting that happened in Jodhpur. Why is anybody bothered so much ? There are so many people(more than half) in this world who kill atleast one animal everyday to fill there tummy.
And these will be the first to raise their voices against the so-called inhuman killing of a beautiful living creature.
To conclude , i second your suggestion of boycotting the movies of salman khan. But mind you, this is not going to hurt salman nor his pocket in any way.
I would suggest a bigger solution. Salman is just a pawn here. There are many such Salmans in this world . The face of some is known to us and the face of some is in dark.
Good governance/justice, i think ,shud b the biggest answer.
Hope(i dont have any hopes) this election will show us light at the end of the tunnel.
