Mr. Editor,
I saw the BDA site allocation "CUT-OFF DETAILS OF THE SITE ALLOTMENT".
It is very hard to understand when the 50x80, which sites are branded as the
luxury sites and equally highly priced, there are reservations made for
SC/ST/BT/PH in that category. Is it not obvious that if a person
is capable of buying that huge a site, he must be in a position where
he does not need "any more" help or assistance from the Government.
I strongly feel that at least in the "Luxury sites" category *RICH*
SC/ST/BT/PH should compete on equal grounds with the General Public (GP).
The only reservation that makes sense in this sector is for Ex-Service men,
in which case the reservation is more like a reward than assistance.
I hope the Government will take appropriate measures to set right this anomaly.
