After receiving the vision pastor D. John Moses experienced new determination and direction for his pastoral ministry. He gathered a few like minded evangelists, pastors, believers and Bible Women and share the vision with them. After much prayers, Discussions, Fasting Prayers seeking God?s Will and strategy. The Gospel team was formed.
The following are the objectives:
1. Gospel to the remote un-reached villages in Coastal areas in Andhra Pradesh.
2. Planting churches in villages where there are none.
3. Bible Training Programmes for interested and committed brothers and
sisters to be sent to such villages.
4. Using the local cultural methods like music with traditional instruments ( Drums, Dolak, Trinkets, Flute), Folk Songs, Folk Dances, Street Plays etc., and preparing a team to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the villages using these methods.
5. Arranging Gospel meeting in major villages. Power ministry involving work of the power of the holy spirit in the Gospel meetings.
6. Arranging Youth meetings, Children?s ministry, and women conference; involving all sections of the society.
7. Arranging family counseling for families, Youth, newly married couple and encourage them to live in unity and Godly love.
8. Printing of Gospel literature, tracks, Booklets, Witnesses. Recording Audio Cassettes with local Christian songs.
9. Creating Old age home, Hostels for orphans, handicapped and under privileged.
1.The Coastal Andhra Pradesh Vizianagaram District has 34 mandalams Every mandalam consist of 25- 30 villages both major and minor including hamlets). Out of these half a dozen are agency and tribal areas. By the year 2008 Gospel to be preached in these mandalam.
2.By the year 2010 plating at least one church in every mandalam. Correspondingly appointing a pastor to look after the pastoral needs of the local congregation.
3.Creating Orphans home, Oldage home, handicapped homes in blocks each of 4-5 Mandalams.
4.Indentifying hungry and poor families who can?t afford even once square meal a day and giving them monthly rations. Identification can be done by the local pastor during his home visits.
5.Conducting medical camps on regular basis through the help of committed and interested medical Doctors. Identifying diseases like cancer, Leprosy, and women gynic problems.
FOC Team:-
FOC team consists of 5 young pastors ( all are married) and 15 evangelists, 10 to 15 committed and helpful believers, more than 3 Bible women groups ( Each consists of 4-5 members) putting their efforts in every aspect with love in action. We are looking to add some more like minded people in the coming days.
Finances:-
So far our ministry is based on faith and vision. We don?t have any financial resources. We pray and depending on the lord for our financial requirements. We seek support from the like minded people for FOC ministry.
The problems faced by us during the mission and our suggestions:-
1.Lack of public transport, services to these people can be provided when we have vehicles of our own.
2.Lack of safe and clean drinking water ( Especially in Agencies, slums, and aboriginal areas) . Constructing of water purifying tanks can only solve this problem
3.Each of our team will consists of 12 members and all together 4 - 5 teams. The team has to stay in the village areas for at least 15- 20 days during Gospel camps.
