FOC, Followers Of Christ is a result of a vision provided to Pastor D.John Moses
by the Holy Spirit in the year 2001 ( Jan 31st ). The main emphasis of the vision was to seek salvation to the lost souls to the telugu speaking people in Coastal Andhra Pradesh. The inspirational scriptural verses for the mission is
Luke 4.18
" The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor;
he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted,
to preach deliverance to the captives,
and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
To preach the acceptable year of the Lord "
( Luke 4:18)
Accordingly the vision directed our missionary work towards preaching the gospel to the poor, healing the broken hearted, preaching deliverance to the captives, giving sight to the spiritually blind and giving liberty to those who are bruised in body, mind and spirit. From the Indian perspective the gospel preaching involves hill-tribes, Fisherman, aboriginals, Slum dwellers. The gospel also needs to find expression among the idol worshippers, Witch ?Craft practitioners and make them followers of Christ. Making them worthy, acceptable in the kingdom of God.
