Hi !!
Let me give a brief intro about myself. I am a Masters and Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Department of Chemical Technology (UDCT), Mumbai and Medicine from Karnataka.
During my stay in Mumbai as a doctorate under Prof. V. M. Kulkarni, Head, Pharmaceuticals Divison, my research basically revolved around Antifungals and Antimalarials. The work produced significant results of therapeutic interest with patents and publications.
I am now in the United States pursuing my research at the Childrens Hospital Medical Center, Cincinnati, Ohio.
I am currently working in Dr. Hegde's Lab. (headed by - Prof. Rashmi Hegde, Ph.D. - earlier at NY School of Medicine) which basically deals with Structural Biology Programs including Macromolecular crystallization, X-ray Diffraction Studies, Protein and molecular modelling of biologically important macromolecules. My current areas of interest include proteins involved in early vertebrate developement and proteins involved in the life and infection cycles of the cancer-associated papillomaviruses.
