| I am Pranav Agrawal, passout from Malviya National institute of Technology. I have done my B.Tech in Electronics and communication Engineering. Presently I am working in aricent (formerly Flextronics software systems ( formerly Hughes software systems ) ). I am working in DATACOM group. My specilization include layer-2 layer-3 protoclos, Vxworks, Networking, IPsec, MPLS(Multiple Protocol Label switching). Now I am posted in the Bangalore. |

| Following are the projects I have worked upon which reflects my intrests and hobbies. 1. Completed Project entitled �WAN interface Packet Sniffer on DSL IP Routers�, as the part of OASIS training at Aricent. The aim of the project was to display to filter the packets captured at the ADSL port of the DSL Modems, according to the filters specified by the user and to display them in the readable format. The code was written in C language. 2. Completed on project entitled �Hardware Implementation for DNA Sequence Alignment Algorithm� as a final year project. It was implemented to accelerate the search of the subsequence in a long sequence of the DNA. The need of the acceleration is due to the huge size of the database, so computer implementation takes lot of time to process the search. The computer implementation is of square complexity; in hardware implementation the complexity was reduced to linear, by using Systolic array. The algorithm used was Smith-Watermann, which uses the concept of dynamic programming. 3. Worked on the L-Edit in the VLSI Physical Design Lab. Designed the Layout of the four bit adder, and generated the .spc file, after DRC check. 4. Completed the project entitled �Temperature Monitoring Unit using K- Type Thermocouple�, at BARC, Mumbai. The aim of the project was to display the temperature of the 8 points around the electron beam carrying tube. The temperature was sensed using thermocouples. Amplification cicuitry was designed and implemented using op-amps. The microcontroller - onboard facility of analog-digital conversion was used, and the digitized values were displayed on LCD. The assembly code was written to control the analog-digital conversion and to display temperatures on LCD. The memory mapped I/O was used to interact with the LCD. 5. Worked on the project �D-LINEMAN�, (FPGA implementation of automatic railway crossing). In this project the controller for the automatic railway crossing was designed and describes using VHDL, and then simulated in ModelSim, finally the implementation was done using FPGA. 6. Paper entitled �Dual level Data encryption Using Image segmentation and AES for combating Piracy� published in �International Conference of Information Security� held at PEC, Pondicherry. |
