What is ri ?
------------
ri is a text editor for Linux. It has a menu based interface similar to MS-EDIT. It can be used to edit multiple files simultaneously. Currently, ri works best in pure console mode and there is no mouse support.

Why the name "ri" ?

"ri" is short, easy to type ...and rhymes with vi!
