Dear Santosh, - Just thought to point out, for now, that you misrepresent me when you attribute to me the statement: "And what can anyone say in response to the insight that Michelangelo and Einstein have not contributed anything positive (or net positive) to society?"

What I did say was: "And even if a Sodomite or Eclectist is a genius such as Michelangelo or Einstein, that still does not change the fact that their negative value far out weights their positive value."

Sincerely,

I had drafted a response to Douglas Paul's post (#9697), Contra Goan Sodomism. However, the matter was largely about Christian doctrine. Therefore, I hesitated between inconveniencing the general membership of the Goa-Goans List by putting to them what had, to my mind, become a discussion between me and Paul, and posting to him privately.

Finally, I decided to post only to Paul. In response, Paul has replied on the List, and Santosh Helekar has weighed in.

In response to the posts of Paul and Helekar, I state that:

1. There is no need for "references." The references are the Bible and the consistent teachings of the Church over the last two thousand years, and I assumed that this should be known to every Christian. However, I think I assumed too much...

2. I stand by my position as delinated in the above response [ Contra Goan Sodomism], and I reject each and every assertion to the contrary. However, I see - and have learned - that there is no purpose in a specific response, or attempted defence of the faith, and so I will leave it at that.

3. However, even so, I need to state that I along with very many persons, have refused to abandon the Catholic Faith following its Protestantization in 1958-1965 under Roncalli ('John XXIII'), Montini ('Paul VI'), Luciani ('John-Paul I') & Karol Wojtyla ('John-Paul II'), whom, under the principles of Pope Paul IV's Bull, Cum Ex Apostolatus Officio we entirely and absolutely refuse to recognize, both as 'popes' and all their pretended acts, teachings, etc.

I admit Pope Michael (http://PopeMichael.Homestead.Com)
