Zhong & Cheng: Impius Mockers
I accidentally happened to find an interesting doc Petition1:
"Petition to His Holiness Pope John Paul II, the Roman Curia, and all the faithful of the One, Holy, Apostolic Roman Catholic Church, to Elect HH Pope Pius XIV to the Papacy in the United States.". (See text below.)
Posted on behalf of that mythical Chinese pope, Robert Zhong aka Pope Pius XIV, on the site Petitiononline.com, by a Wang Cheng, claiming to be +Cardinal Secretary of State, using the email id [email protected], and who even admits to not being a Catholic2…
It is obvious, from reading this interesting petition posted by Robert Zhong and Wang Cheng, that this "papal claim" is nothing but an obscene joke on the Catholic Resistance and its attempts to elect the pope.
However, with us, the same persons have been pretending otherwise.
The persons who posted this "petition" identify themselves as something called the New Catholic Order. When I saw this petition, and tried to follow the links, I found that Zhong & Cheng have a Geocities.com website: http://www.geocities.com/holycatholic_2000/ncc.html. Neither does this url nor its root, the shorter url, http://www.geocities.com/holycatholic_2000/, open. It is apparent that for some reason, they deleted this page (ncc.html); however, it is possible that they have other pages on the site, which we cannot discover because there is no index page, whether default or designed...
I smelt a fishtale right at the start, and even now, when I am exposing this, I know that not everyone will believe me…
I suspect that Zhong is resident in the US, possibly even a citizen of the US and not of the ROC; I suspect he procured his 'election' in his workplace somewhere in the US, his 'electors' being his co-workers - indiscriminate of their religion, and possibly the occasion was an office party... Wang Cheng is probably a fellow-worker, possibly also a room-mate... Moreover, I doubt Zhong's connection to Taiwan (Republic of China)...
As a 'young man', it is most improbable that Zhong was ever a priest, whether Catholic or in the Vatican II sect. However, it is possible that Zhong may be a drop-out seminarian from this sect... His personal religion, it seems, is an eclectic, voodoo or New Age caricature of Catholicism.

To His Holiness Pope John Paul II, the Roman Curia, and all the faithful of the One, Holy, Apostolic Roman Catholic Church
The current Holy Roman Catholic Church is under much turmoil. Our Holy Father, Pope John Paul II is under great distress. In order to assist His Holiness, God has permitted two Popes to co-reign His Church. In Rome, we have HH Pope John Paul II, and in the United States, we have Pope Pius XIV. According to Church tradition and unwritten Canon Law (formulated by the personal theologian to HH Pope Pius XII), in order to elect a new Pope without the required Cardinals, the faithful of the Church must cast their ballot.
In order to prolong the life of the One, Holy, Apostolic Roman Catholic Church, the Church Militant asks the faithful to cast their ballot by signing this petition: to rightful transfer Apostolic powers to the American Pontiff, His Holiness Pope Pius XIV (who has been ruling for already two years).
The Church therefore sincerely asks that all faithful cast their ballot by signing the petition.

From the nature of the posts, it is obvious that most of the signatories are personally acquainted with Bob Zhong... What picture do these comments reveal?
To Recap the Zhong - Cheng Claim:
"Robert Zhong was a priest who served under Pope Pius XII. The New Catholic sect booted him out for his failure to assimilate the New Religion. Zhong set up a private parish in central Taiwan (ROC), Our Lady of China, but was forced to close for lack of funds. Subsequently, he took part in a council of some seventy-five Sedevacantist priests and bishops who had been ordained under Pius XII or earlier, in Taiwan, and, on 26th September, 1999, this council elected him to be the successor of Pius XII in the vacant papacy. Zhong took the name Pope Pius, but to avoid confusion with Pulvermacher, Pius XIII, took the name Pius XIV."
This information was conveyed to the St. Gabriel site by a Wan Cardinal Cheng, who identified himself as Zhong's Papal Secretary, and asked to be included in St. Gabriel's mailing lists, providing the email id, [email protected]. Further, according to Cheng, the Zhong party resides in Taiwan (ROC) and was attempting to both set up contacts in the US and to procure or establish an internet presence...
However, Cheng also informed that the Zhong party was not certain that the Polish actor, Charlieboy, was not the real pope, and were, even after twenty years, still studying the issue, without having reached a final conclusion.
