Adversus Haereses: Contra John Martinez

I have the misfortune to have Fr. (?) John Martinez write me today (3rd February 2004) enclosing his literature. I have known that Martinez is a viciously anti-Catholic heretic and propagandist who nevertheless masquerades as one of the Traditionalists or the Catholic Resistance. His writings are full of an enormous range of heresies.

I am deeply aggrieved that Martinez has written me. Previously, he used to send me his literature, but as I ignored that, he ceased. Now, I ask, why the sudden revival?
I am not white. I am Asiatic. Therefore, it should be logical that I should not have any sympathy with or for White Racists. Why then does Martinez post me the "Eagle Newsletter" which is full of White Racist rantings?

FR. JOHN MARTINEZ, Editor and Publisher of The Catholic newsletter, writes from Frederick OK:

�Dear Dr. Rhome: Just a brief note to greatly suggest to you to get in touch with as many as possible Catholic friends that you might have and greatly suggest to them to put pressure on their pastors and on their Bishops to tell the Catholic soldiers that it will be a moral sin to fight against Iraq. For the Vatican already stated publicly that this is an unjust war, but did not go the extra mile that I have gone - namely, that it will be a mortal sin for Catholic soldiers to attack Iraq! For if even just a few Catholic American Bishops would go the extra mile, the Protestant ministers will follow them, and this will be the end of Bush�s evil war! Since you know key Protestant ministers, it would be a very good idea if you would suggest to them to go the extra mile even if the Catholic American Bishops will not take it. For if these ministers would take it, the Catholic Bishops would follow them. But since Bush has given Iraq only weeks, we have to act mighty pronto! For this is the essence in this vital battle of ours! Issue #194 tells you very briefly how seriously I take this upcoming Bush War, so I am doing all I possibly can to stop it! A man is known by the Company he keeps. If Martinez has no compunction against being recommended and featured by White Racists, then it leads one to the probability that he himself has no difficulties with White Racism.

Martinez joins with a whole range of Kooks in attacking George Bush. I have just finished a few days back protesting a bunch of Left-wing protestors - vicious malingerers - of George Bush, the World Social Forum, and now I am confronted with a Rightwing bunch of Kooks out to malinger Bush.

I am left with the powerful doubt that if Left and Right, the two extremes of Error, are united in demonising and malingering George Bush, then, perchance, he must be a square guy. He seemingly has two powerful and opposite witnesses to his integrity - the Left and the Right!

But insolent and arrogant as he is in attacking Bush, he exceeds himself when he gratuitously arrogates to himself the authority to define acts as "mortal sins", an authority that only belongs to the lawful authorities of the Church, and not a maverick and renegade such as Martinez himself!
A few years back, Dr. Charles Mendoza, Ph.S., who had recommended my writing, "Repair My Church", to (Fr.) Lucian Pulvermacher, had written to me against Martinez and enclosing a tract from Richard Ibranyi, the Feeneyite, also against Martinez.

Although Ibranyi is a Feeneyite heretic, who also likes to seduce souls by pretending, as does Martinez, to be one of us, Traditionalists or the Catholic Resistance, I strongly sympathize with his denunciation of Martinez.

Despite the fact that the enclosed four-page letter says a few horrible things against Rev. (?) John Martinez, I can too easily tell you that it does not even touch the tip of this huge iceberg as regards how rotten that man (?), actually is. For besides God, I know him the best and know perfectly well how evil that human (?) being actually is! So please pass the word to as many people you happen to know so that they will be on guard as regards him. For I have definite proofs that he is a possessed man (?) by no one else than Lucifer himself!

Dr. Charles Mendoza, Ph.S. I wrote Ibranyi for his critique of John Martinez, and I reproduce both what he has to say, and his pamphlet that Dr. Mendoza had posted me years ago...
As far as George Bush is concerned, I make two points: 1. This is not our war, nor our "peace". Therefore, we, as self-professed Catholics - Traditionalists, ought to not get involved either way. 2. However, even despite this requirement of non-involvement, I see that the balance of justice and truth is on Bush's side rather than his many detractors.

Once, when an Egyptian Pharoah was hurrying up north to take on the Assyrians, a King of Judah made it his business to challenge him, to seek to stop him. The Pharoah warned him to stay away, that God did not want him to get involved, but the Jewish King would not listen... and got beaten for his troubles.

Latter, another King of Judah sent bribes to the Chaldeans of Babylon in order to get them to attack the Syrians from the rear so as to get the Syrians to stop attacking Judah. Then he invited the Babylonians to Jerusalem and led them on a conducted tour of the Palace and the Temple and the treasures therein. God rebuked that King for putting his trust in the Babylonians rather than in God, and for his conducted tour of the Palace and Temple, and informed him that He would deliver the Temple, Palace and their treasures to the very same Babylonians, in punishment.

Let us learn our lessons. We have our God, who is all-powerful. We have our own Agenda, which is different from that of Bush, who represents the Protestants, and different also from the Agendas of the Right and of the Left. Let us devote our emotional and physical energies to our own causes, to our own works, rather than dissipate them in fighting the battles of our enemies. Let us devote our monies to further our own Agenda - that of Christ Jesus, our King.

But let us also discuss Bush.

Bush is accused of being arrogant for attacking Iraq without UN Sanctions. What is his crime?

Let us understand the question by analogy. The US is a State, made up of provinces that are called "states". Now suppose, the State of Texas has a quarrel with the State of Louisiana, if it sent armies and navies out to attack Louisiana, its peoples, its shippings... If Texas sent out forces to occupy, annex and incorporate parts of Louisiana into Texas...

We would be able to understand that the Governor of Texas has gone out of hand, that he is exceeding his powers. He is being insubordinate. He cannot take unilateral action in face of a problem with his neighbour but must await for higher authorities at the US Federal Government to solve the issues...

But unlike the US, and every other State on this planet Earth, the UN is not a State. The US is not a mere province of the UN. The Government of the US does NOT require UN permission in order to conduct its day to day activities. It, the USA, is not subordinate to the UN.

Therefore, the US attacking Iraq is not like our hypothetical case of Texas waging war upon Louisiana.

As for legalities, Iraq had already had sanctions imposed upon it. After its invasion of Kuwait, and its defeat in that war, it had agreed to certain restrictions. It has provenly violated those.

It refused to cooperate with UN Inspectors sent to determine that it had destroyed its Weapons of Mass Destructions. It built missiles that violated, in the extent of their reach, the sanctions imposed upon it.

Iraq had also demonstrated its danger to world peace by its unprovoked attack upon Israel during the Kuwait War, an effort that was too evidently an effort to broaden the war into a World War, between Arabs and non-Arabs. It is public knowledge that Saddam Hussain lost the Kuwait War but not his determination to commit mischief.

Given all these facts, the USA and its allies were very much within their powers in unilaterally acting against Iraq, without UN permission for this particular action.

Let us remember that the reason the Alliance choose to act without UN approval, is not because they did not want UN approval, but because they knew that hypocrites such as Russia, France and Germany would block the vote...

The UN is ruled by "nations" that are nothing but hypocrites. It has been the forum for the spread of the false, hypocritical and misanthropic doctrine of "anti-colonialism" with all the attendant misery that this evil has inflicted upon mankind in the last fifty years.

During these last fifty years, UN Committee of Hypocrites, such as Ghana, India, the USSR, etc., blocked action against mischief too many times.

As a Goan, I am too conscious of that fact. Goa was and is a victim of the same hypocrisy at the hands of the UN. It was because of the UN that India was encouraged to stage the Rape of Goa. It was the UN that justified and which justifies the Enslavement of Goa.

Nor is Goa the only people to be so mistreated. All the peoples of East Europe are the victims of the UN.

It is for this reason that the East Europeans are more favourable to Bush. All in all, I would find the US to be a more reliable reliever than the UN. I cannot put my trust in the UN at all.

The UN is merely a forum of States. But it pretends to be, and seeks to be much more than merely this. It seeks to be the de facto One World State, reducing its members to provinces.

It demands of all peoples and states that they should prostrate themselves before this behemoth and worship it, and accept its ukases without question.

The UN has been attempting to force upon mankind a One World State through the back door. As such it poses far more a threat to me than the nebulous American "imperialism".

As for the latter, I do not rightly know what that means. Unlike the Roman Empire, the USA is not going about on a spree of occupying and annexing states, territories and peoples. So, where exactly is the American "Empire" located?
It is obvious to all that the West is under Siege. It is obvious that it is under Siege from Communists and from Islam and from Hinduism, etc. Yet, there are people in the West who are not satisfied by the quantum of self-subversion presently obtaining in the West and who seek for higher quantums.

They seek, apparently enough, to facilitate these external enemies, in their desire to enslave and destroy the West, to reduce and dehumanize its peoples. This is why, instead of closing ranks against the External Enemies, they choose to be their agents, the Enemy Within. This is why they attack Bush rather than those who are targetting the West. They are attacking Bush because Bush is defending the West. And because they are the enemies of the West.

It is interesting to catalogue who all have crawled out of the woodwork to subvert the West in sympathy with Osama bin Ladin and other barbarians at the gates. We have Communists, Socialists, Trotskyites, and all the other psuedanthropes of the Left. And then we have the White Racists and others of the Right. A very odd mixture of lunatics united in self-loathing, in playing patsy to the enemy.

In the midst of these, stand some who pretend to be of us, Catholics, making common cause with Free Thinkers, Anti-Clericalists, Abortionists, Sodomites, and the whole Legion of Satan. I am moved by their "faith".
The way I see it, it is not Bush's fault that Saddam Hussain has been found not to have Weapons of Mass Destruction. Certainly, al-Tikriti worked hard at creating a consciousness world-wide that he possessed such weapons and was willing to use them.

Richard Ibranyi: Warning Against the Heretic, Fr. John Martinez

To whom it may concern,

Fr. John Martinez of Fredrick, Oklahoma, editor and publisher of The Catholic newsletter:
  1. Doubted and then denied that Pope Pius IX and Pope Pius X were popes.

  2. Denied the validity of the Vatican Council of 1870.

  3. Denied that Papal Infallibility had been infallibly defined.

  4. Denies the infallibility of St. Jerome�s Latin Vulgate translation of the Bible.

  5. Criticized the Epistles of St. Paul by saying he should have been clearer.

  6. Said Jesus Christ was tainted with human respect.

  7. Knowingly prays in communion with non-Catholics. He says Mass for anyone who calls themselves Catholic, even those who are members of the Vatican II Church. He gives them Holy Communion and does not preach the truth to them, as he believes it; thus, he does not call them to repent and convert. I personally witnessed this.

  8. He does not teach fallen-away Catholics must abjure from the Great Apostasy in order to enter the Catholic Church, let alone take a specific abjuration.

  9. He attempts to unite with other priests whom he knows do not hold the full deposit of the Catholic faith.

That article is a Feeneyite's analysis of John Martinez. In his latest issue # 209, that Martinez has posted me, he tells us: The Council of Trent — 1545-1563 — came up with the "or a desire for it" bit referring to the reception of the Baptism of water. This sloppy theology has created, is creating and will create a lot of unnecessary religious confusion. I am at least 100% sure that all of you who consider the Council of Trent to be the greatest ecumenical council of the Church, are scandalized that I wrote that I consider the "or a desire for it" bit to be sloppy theology... For years since Dr. Mendoza sent me his letter with Ibranyi's denunciation of Martinez, I have been wondering whether Martinez is really a Dollingerite or "Old Catholic". Now, however, I have no doubts anymore on the subject. I know that he is not.

John Martinez is not a Dollingerite, as Ibranyi mistakenly surmises. Nor is he a Feeneyite, despite making Feeneyan noises. In fact, Martinez is a Free Thinker.

A Free Thinker is the worst kind of heretic. Worse even than a Modernist, who is but an innocent babe when compared to a Free Thinker. A Free Thinker is one who believes himself under no obligations to any authority, and considers himself the supreme authority. He, and he alone, defines what is right and what is wrong. His authority is not subject to another's. His authority is "Divine" for such a person considers himself to be truly God!

In degree of diabolicity, Martinez comes close to "Dr." Leo Rebelo... who however surpasses him in his vileness! Martinez is precisely of the same mold as Mu'Ahmad, the founder of Islam, of Martin Luther or Henry VIII...

It is interesting — and telling — that Martinez has taken "For the number of fools is infinite" as his motto. This motto exposes his arrogance and conceit: the man believes that everyone, including Christ Jesus is foolish, weak, tainted with human weakness or respect. All, that is, except himself, John Martinez. He, John Martinez, alone, is Wise. He, John Martinez, alone, possesses Wisdom. So much so that he, John Martinez, is the very personification of Wisdom — Living Wisdom! This is Martinez' overpowering conceit...

Martinez himself confesses to be very liberal. As a Liberal he is ultra-Modernist.

Martinez can be properly described, in the Catholic understanding, as a Satanist. It is better for him to drop the mask of Catholic Tradition, and lay claim to the mantle of Alistair Crowley.
