-The P.S.R.R. grew out of the Joliet Y.M.C.A. Running Club.
-We have a circuit of races that our runners compete in for overall and age group awards.
-Our club is responsible for putting together two area races each year.
1. Poultry Predictor 4 miler on Thanksgiving.
2. National Heritage Cooridor 25k in April.
Our Club Goals Include
-To Encourage Running at all Levels.
-To promote races from Junior Jogs, Fun Runs, to tough long distane cross country and road races.
-To Spread our belief that running should create friendship and be fun!
Some Ongoing Activities
-During the spring and summer months we get together for track workouts at Troy Middle School in Shorewood.
-Tuesday Night Fun Run from Dick Pond Athletics Crest Hill (Year Round)
-Sunday Runs from the I&M Canal tow path. Join the group for breakfast afterwards.
-We also host an annual awards banquet in January each year open to all members.
