The Prairie State Road Runners Present the 17th National Heritage Corridor 25k Saturday, April 12, 2008 in Channahon, IL 8 am.
-Thats right!! Were back and running along side the Illinois and Michigan Canal from Channahon toward Morris.

-We have a great new starting area- The brand new Will County Forest Preserve Four Rivers Shelter at Kerry Sheridan Grove.  Since this is the first running event ever held at this new facility we are limiting the entry to 250 total runners.  That means you need to sign up early!!!

-Cost of the race $12, yep only $12 bucks!! $2 discount for PSRR members

-The course is roughtly 10% roads and the rest crushed limestone.  It is an out and back course with the canal on one side and the Illinois River on the other.

-Water and Gatorade will be provided at 6 aid stations.  Results will be posted at psrr.org after the race.

-Channahon is located two miles south of the intersection of interstate 55 and interstate 80.  Take 55 to the Route 6 exit.  Go west on route 6 for about 3 miles to the Subway restaurant.  Take a left by the Subway onto Canal Street.  Go 5 blocks to bridge steet and go right over the canal and to Blackbery Lane.  Then continue until you see the forest preserve entrance sign on your left.
