| Red Dogwood |
| Red twigs of dogwood slap and poke at me while hiding from the seeking they're springy and right bouncy in thickets, surrounding beds of deer. It's called by books Red Osier, but changes color with the year, anyway, it likes it here and shades the landscape sheer. With leaves all gone, I know it's Fall, but nevermind, these red twigs do not disappear, instead, when winter snows come by the red announces to the white you cannot hide me all the year. ================================ Prairie Dan, 11/06/00 copyright 2000, Daniel A Johnson All rights reserved. |
