Dr. Bruderer is a surgeon certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Society for Bariatric Surgery. He attended medical school at the University of Missouri in Kansas City, MO. He then served his first residency at the Truman Medical Center in Kansas City. After that residency, he served with the US Army at Walter Reed Hospital, where he developed their laparoscopic surgical program. He then served in Germany from 1987 to 1995.
Dr. Bruderer then moved to North Dakota, where he has worked in the Bismarck and Carrington communities. He has been employed at MedCenter One since 2001. He is a member of the SAGES, and is a member of the American Society for Bariatric Surgery.
