Roses
Roses are elegant with petals silky soft
and fragrance sweet.
There's one just right for any occassion
a person might meet.
Whether it's a gift of one or a complete
dozen;
For a loved one so fair or a distant cousin
To say about anything one might wish to say
A gift of roses is a magnificent way!

The Rose
How fair is the rose!
What a beautiful flower!
The glory of April and May!
But the leaves are beginning to fade
in an hour,
And they wither and die in a day.
Yet the rose has one powerful virtue
to boast,

Red roses can symbolize a love that's true;
A special way of saying I love you!
Or to say Congratulations, roses of red will do
They can simply say job well done, too.
A single rose makes a statement of simplicity
While red rosebuds are representative of purity
If innocence, beauty or youth is what you
wish to portray
A gift of rosebuds would be a perfect way.
