Those Precious Moments
Friend, don't put off for tomorrow
When we lose a precious loved one it
We vow...
what should be done today.
Write a little love note now and send
it on its way.
Waiting until tomorrow..just may be
too late,
We never know what twist or turn the
road of life will take.
causes us to weep and mourn,
We are often left broken-hearted and
filled with bitter scorn.
As our mind traces over those
precious moments spent...
Those that were lost or wasted only
cause us to lament.
if we could only go back in time and
place,
Not one of those precious moments
would we waste.
We have today, this day, tomorrow
we may never see
It takes a little effort, friend...
procrastinators we cannot be.
It only takes a moment to pass
a note along...
Cheer someone along the way and
fill their heart with song.
Then if that loved one is taken from
us unexpectedly,
We can be at peace knowing those
precious moments were spent
to the best of our ability.
