OLD BUSINESS

• Website – Robyn reminds members to provide a blurb on themselves for the website’s members section.
• Newsletter articles – Ramona will write an article for the spring issue; Nancy for summer, and Robyn for fall.
• Publicity – Robyn suggested a Prairie Hearts T-shirt that we can wear to meetings.
• Retreat – We discussed the Prairie Hearts Writers’ Retreat for our members and suggested locations that might provide food, laptop computer plug-ins, and atmosphere. The retreat is tentatively set for May 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. We are looking for a location. The date might change.

• Reminder: Dues are $20. Please pay by the February meeting.
• Program: Robyn did a Tarot reading on each of us to enlighten us about the art and to help pinpoint areas concerning our writing projects.
• Plagiarism. We discussed the current plagiarism issue concerning Cassie Edwards and how professionals have responded.
• We postponed 2008 dreams to the next meeting.
