Old Business:

• Website:  Robyn was absent.
• Market Research:  Lynn D. was absent.  Ramona shared information about lulu.com (self-publishing website).
• T-shirts, bags, bookmarks:  Robyn has the logo.
• 20^th Anniversary:  2009 will be Prairie Hearts’ 20^th Anniversary.  Additional discussion regarding things we could do to celebrate this milestone.  Suggestions included a retreat, a contest, maybe something for literacy.

New Business:

• Value of RWA:  Discussion included comments that the website is not as valuable to us; prefer hard copies of magazine articles, etc.; would like more craft.
• Update on writing:  Ramona is journaling.  Rebecca is working on Chapter 3 of her paranormal.  Nancy is reading, but not writing at the moment.  HiDee is working on the P&P manual and starting the Book-in-a-Month. 
• There were no pages for critiquing so members selected prompts from the Prompt Envelope, wrote and then read their words aloud.
