Old Business:

• Website: Some bios still needed. If we don’t have yours, please send it to Robyn.
• Newsletter: HiDee is working on the April/May/June issue. Lynn will send Robyn the list of article assignments to post on our website.
• Treasury Report: Not yet complete – HiDee will bring in May.
• Market Research: Lynn D. was absent.
• T-shirts: Lynn to measure size of logo on her bag so we can size ours approximately the same for t-shirts and/or bags. HiDee to ask her computer guy if he can size it for us and make it transparent.
• Bylaws: Due by May 1. Members present voted to accept changes that have been made. HiDee will resubmit to National.
• 20th Anniversary: 2009 will be Prairie Hearts’ 20th Anniversary. We discussed things we could do to celebrate this milestone. Suggestions included a retreat, booksigning, or fundraiser. One suggested them was “Best of…” We’re open to other suggestions if anyone has any!
  
  

New Business:

• P&P manual: Now that our Bylaws are completed, HiDee will begin work on our chapter P&P manual.
• Update on writing: Lynn C. is working on getting her second manuscript published – it has been submitted to Tiger. Ramona completed an article for the newsletter and is working on her manuscript. Robyn is writing and preparing for the conference she is attending this month. HiDee is reading and studying other authors. Guest Rebecca is writing her first novel and doing Book In A Month. She plans to join Prairie Hearts!
