"Joules" - the Unit of Energy ... fits her perfectly ... and matched her original name too - Jewel !!
The Town Lake Animal Shelter in Austin thought she was a Lab - Retriever Mix
I think she is a Lab - Ridgeback -and lot more mixed in
But who cares ... she's a mutt .. 100%... and a proud one at that !!
She's was born sometime in May of '02 to some pretty dog .. and abandoned .. !!
She has doubled in size since i got her - but did not get as big as we thought she might ....
she's absolutely beautiful, precious, loving and adorable :-) !!
She loves the futon in my living room and claims it as her own !!
Beware Guests !! She doesn't give it up .. but she likes to share :) !!!
She knows the commands `sit', `go lie down', 'c'mon', `off', 'wait', 'stay' 'let's go'....
'go to bed' 'go get you blue toy' (for a cookie) and 'Roll" .... and Boy ! does she roll - all 45 lbs of her :) !!!!
