   Once upon a time, there were three guys named ANIL, ANUP and PRADEEPTA. Three of them were from a city called PATAN in KATHMANDU valley(a sacred valley). They were very much influenced from the westen ROCK music. Anup and Pradeepta liked THRASH to DOOM and ALTERNATIVES. Anil liked SLOW ROCKS and slightly heavy. They had a junction in a place called MANGALBAZAR and gathered with their gang hanging around. Soon their they decided to form a band which was unnamed even after jamming for few months. They jammed Metallica,   Black Sabbath,   Gunsnroses, Nazareth,   PinkFloyd, CCR, Eagles, UFO, Megadeth, Scorpions whatever they liked. iT was gradually developing and Anil brought some lyrics in their mother language in which three of them tried to put some melodies. Soon it was recorded. The song was called ANDHAKAR which was the first song ever recorded in the studio called "LITTLESTAR".
      Then after some months they again recorded a song called "KEBAL TIMRO LAGI". It smelled like a Nepali rock song. They started jamming heavily near by Bagmati river in a house of a friend called RAM . The drummer wasn`t fixed. They had different drummers time to time. Pradeepta stil l wanted to do some heavier but soon the time came when Pradeepta left Nepal for further studies and migrated. He still did his best for few years. When he came on a holiday after two years in 1997, they stilll jammed together and recorded two more songs. The first was ANDHAKAR remix and an ENGLISH number in pradeepta`s composition "LIFE" which sounded bit heavier(thanks for Mahesh of COBWEB for the help at that time). This song was praised by Pradeepta`s METALIST friends in RUSSIA.
      It`s been now eight years. Anup now seems doing KEYBOARDS in the band called ZENITH, Pradeepta still hanging in his dreams of past in TOKYO and Anil, working in a hotel in KATHMANDU. Thats what happened with the BAND named D A R K C O V E N.          Those who loved DARK COVEN still wants them to play together, W e hope it will rise once again.
Nobody of them can forget those times when we use to hang in the MANGAL BAZAR every day and evening. Those were the best days in our life and always will be.

We wish a great tribute to DARK COVEN.
