Praveen Bhole is a Post-Graduate in Theatre arts and is currently working with Lalit Kala Kendra Gurukul, as a Assistant Professor in Theatre. Has worked in various areas in theatre as playwright, director, set designer and light designer. Some of the major plays that he has directed are Chandra Sawali Korto, which won many awards in Purushottam Karandaka one act play competition, Vedya Kavita, theatrical presentation on certain poems by Sadanand Rege, Sangeet Ekach Pyala, a parody of Gadkari’s Ekach Pyala written by P. K. Atre, Seeta Swayamwara, the first recorded performance in history of Marathi Theatre, Shudraka’s Mricchakatikam, Awatar, a marathi version of Moliére’s Tartuffe, Iphigenia, Akhyan : Damayanti, Bakhar, Mi 1 Maze 2 and Jatretala Giant Wheel. He has completed his doctoral research in ‘Acting-styles’, under the guidance of Dr. Rajeev Naik, for which ‘University of Pune’ offered him the degree of Ph.D.
