Background:
Carly had betrayed Sonny, he threw
her out of his life. He is staying with Angel and they are growing very close.
Sonny does not have any guards on Carly. AJ is suing Carly for custody of
Michael. To keep Michael safe Carly has him hidden on an island with Leticia.
No one has heard anything from Jason, he is still out of the country on Sonny's
orders. This story picks up where Sorel has broken into the penthouse and has
taken Carly hostage. Mike was at Sonny's warehouse and overheard his men
talking about how Sorel had Carly. He went to tell Sonny, since he knew he was
staying with Angel. Sonny turned Mike away, not wanting to listen to what he
had to say and not believing him. He refused to give Carly any help. Frustrated
Mike returned to the warehouse to find Johnny.
Warehouse:
M: Johnny I need your help,
Sorel's got Carly.
J: I just found out, I am going
over to talk to Sonny now.
M: Well you can save yourself a
trip, I just came from talking to him. As far as he is concerned Carly is on
her own.
J: What? He wouldn't just let her
die.
M: Johnny, my son isn't himself
now, he has shut himself down and wants nothing to do with Carly. But we need
to help her.
J: I will do my best Mike, but
none of the other men will help me out, they are still angry about Carly's
betrayal of the boss.
M: Johnny can you get a hold of
Jason? He needs to know and to be here for her.
J: Yeah. I don't know why I didn't
think of that sooner. I will call him. In the meantime Mike the best thing you
can do right now is to stay put and don't tell anyone about this. If Sorel
knows Sonny won't come for Carly he will kill her, and if the police enter the
picture she really won't have a chance.
M: Okay Johnny, I will try to work
on Sonny some more, just help her man.
J: Forget him Mike, he can only
hurt her chances right now. Jason will help her.
PENTHOUSE:
Carly has been held by Sorel for 2
days now. She has been beaten and she has cuts all over her arms and hands from
when Sorel threw a glass across the room at her and the shards of glass cut her
badly. She has been trying to convince Sorel that Sonny will not come for her.
She knows deep down that it is really over between them and that he has
abandoned her. Her only fear now is what will happen to Michael if she dies.
She did have it in her will that Jason was to raise Michael. She wanted him
with his one and only true father.
S: Well Mrs. Corinthos your time
is running out. If your husband doesn't make an appearance soon it looks like
you will be ALL MINE.
C: Have you not been listening to
me- hello waco wake up and smell the coffee. Its been two days now Sonny ain't
coming, and I sure as hell aren't going to be yours, so just kill me and get it
over with.
S: Not so fast, I WILL HAVE YOU
whether you are willing or not. I want EVERYTHING of Sonny's.
Port Charles Airport:
Jason exits the plane setting foot
in Port Charles once again. He had never planned on coming back here, but when
he got the call from Johnny, nothing could keep him away. When Johnny told him
that Sorel had Carly he felt his whole world come crashing down around him.
Carly still owned his heart, he came to realize she always would, and to think
of that bastard Sorel with her killed him. If anything ever happened to Carly
he didn't think he would be able to go on.
Johnny: Thank god you're here
Jason.
J: How long has he had her?
Johnny: It's been two days now.
Word is he's waiting for Sonny to show himself.
J: What the fuck has been going on
here Johnny? Wait never mind you can fill me in later. Lets get over there and
kill that bastard like Sonny should done have months ago. This has gone on way
to long.
PENTHOUSE:
Carly is scrambling away from
Sorel, she knows exactly what his intentions are. He is relentless and corners
her. She tries to fight him but he backhands her sending her flying backward
into the wall hitting her back hard, knocking the wind out of her.
S: You want this rough, it will be
my pleasure baby. Lets take this party upstairs I want to have Sonny Corinthos
wife in his bed.
Fear takes over and Carly turns
inward letting her mind soar to a place of safety. He may take her body but he
wouldn't take her mind or soul. He grabbed her by the hair and started dragging
her up the stairs
Jason and Johnny exit the elevator
and can hear Carly screaming. They pull their guns and screw their silencers
on. Jason slowly turns the knob to the penthouse, seeing Sorel dragging Carly
up the stairs.
J: I want him dead Johnny.
Johnny nods in approval. They
storm into the penthouse taking Sorel by surprise. Sorel holds Carly in front
of him as a shield at the top of the stairs.
S: Well, well Morgan, I see you
came to rescue your whore. Sorry but this little slut is mine now.
Jason looked at Carly, her face
all bruised and bloody. She wouldn't look at him, which really scarred him.
J: You know you will never get out
of here alive. Let her go and I will stay here with you.
S: I have no use for you Morgan, I
wanted Corinthos, but he doesn't seem to care about this lovely creature.
He began running his hands over
her breast and stomach, and she starts sobbing louder.
Jason made a move toward him,
Sorel held the gun tighter to Carly's head as Jason kept approaching. Johnny
moved around looking for an open shot.
S: BACK UP or she dies right in
front of you Morgan.
Jason slowly moved backwards.
J: Carly look at me baby. LOOK AT
ME!!
She heard his voice and came back
to the situation. She looked and saw Jason standing before her with fear in his
eyes.
C: Jase.
J: I'm here Carly. You stay strong
for me and Michael. I love you Carly.
C: I love you Jase.
S: How touching, to bad you two
will never make it out of here alive.
Carly suddenly gathered up what
ever energy she had left and elbowed Sorel in the stomach and stomped on his
foot causing him to break his grasp on her, and drop his gun. He quickly
backhanded her sending her flying down the stairs.
Johnny and Jason quickly unloaded
their guns into Sorel killing him. Jason ran over to Carly who was bleeding and
unconscious taking her into his arms.
J: Carly wake up baby, please stay
with me. Don't leave me now.
Johnny: Boss?
J: We got to get her to the
hospital- bring the car around. Lock this place up until we can get a clean up
crew in here.
Jason carefully scooped her up
into his arms and carried her down to the limo.
J: I can't loose you Carly. I need
you baby.

General Hospital:
It had been an hour now since
Jason brought Carly in. Bobbie had met them there and followed Carly when they
took her into surgery. No one had come out of the operating room yet and he was
going crazy. When he saw her at the top of the stairs with Sorelıs hands all
over her and the fear in her eyes. God if anything happens to her. She was his
whole world.
Mike entered the waiting room and
saw Jason sitting on the floor slumped against the wall with his head in his
hands. He walked over to Jason putting his hand on his shoulder.
M: How is she Jason?
Jason looked up at Mike with tears
in his eyes.
M: She's a fighter Jason.
J: I'm afraid she might be all out
of fight Mike, she looked so weak.
M: Is there any word yet?
J: No she has been in surgery for
an hour now.
Johnny approaches the two of them.
Johnny: Boss.
J: Yeah Johnny.
Johnny: I need to talk to you for
a moment.
Jason got up and walked out of the
room into the hallway.
Johnny: The cleanup crew came in
and took care of everything.
J: Good. Johnny tell me what the
hell has been going on here. What the hell has Sonny been doing?
Johnny: Sonny threw Carly out
months ago. He pulled all the guards off her, and threaten to kill me if I went
against him. I'm sorry I failed her.
J: Johnny you came threw for her
tonight. Where is Michael?
Johnny: Carly has him hidden
somewhere away from AJ. He's been fighting her for custody. He even won
visitation rights.
J: What the hell is happening? I
thought by leaving she would be happy and safe. I gave up everything and yet
she is in there fighting for her life because I failed to protect her.
Jason closed his eyes pinching the
bridge of his nose. J: Where the hell is he Johnny? Where is he while Carly is
in that operating room fighting to live. Where is Sonny?
Johnny: He has been staying with a
women, Angel Ellis.
J: He threw Carly out and left her
unprotected so he could shack up with another women. THAT BASTARD!
Jason turned around and punched
the wall in total anger and hatred. The pain filled him and he fed off of it.
With total control and an expressionless face he turned back to Johnny.
J: I want AJ dead. Make it look
like a car accident, cut his brakes or something, I really don't care just make
sure he dies. Then I want you to go to this Angels house and bring Sonny here.
I want him to see her and see what he did.
Johnny didn't say anything he
merely nodded and exited while he could.
Bobbie came out of the operating
room with tears in her eyes. Jason just looked at her seeing the tears her eyes
he struggled to breathe, as the pain cut threw him like a knife.
J: No Bobbie, please no.
B: Jason she made it through the
surgery, we lost her twice on the table but we got her back. I'm not sure if
she is going to make it.
J: But she is alive.
B: Yes, just barely but she's
still with us.
Bobbie went over and hugged Jason
as they both cried.
J: I cant loose her Bobbie. I love
her.
B: I know you do Jason. We need to
be her strength now Jason. She needs us.
Bobbie pulled away from him.
B: Jason she was so emotionally
and physically wrecked already before this happened, her body is so weak and
she had extensive internal bleeding. We were able to stop the bleeding but one
of her lungs was punctured in the fall. She has chest tube in now to help her
breath. The next few hours are critical.
J: Can I see her?
B: I don't know if you are
prepared to see her like she is Jason. What you'll see isn't our Carly. You
sure you want to see her like this?
J: She's everything to me Bobbie,
I know I have failed her in the past, but I'm done running and I intend to be
here for her. I need her to know that I love her.
B: Okay. Their getting her settled
into ICU. Lets go see if she can have visitors.
Intensive Care Unit:
B:
Melissa how is she doing?
M: She's stable for the moment.
I'm sorry Bobbie, if I can do anything please let me know.
B: Just take good care of my
daughter.
M: I will.
B: Jason let me go in first and I
will come out and get you.
Jason nodded with a slight sad
smile.
He waited outside and began
pacing. This should not have happened. He had made so many mistakes in his
life, but pushing Carly away and convincing her to marry Sonny was the biggest
mistake he ever made, one that he has regretted every day of his life. Luke
entered the unit and came over to him.
L: Why is my niece lying in there
Morgan? Did you come here to finish her off for your boss.
J: Luke if I had known what was
going on I would have been here sooner. I had no idea Sonny had left her
unprotected.
L: You mean the big boss man
didn't fill you in on the way he threw his wife out like the trash. Why doesn't
that surprise me. So the question now is what are you gonna do about it?
J: I wont let anything happen to
Carly and Michael.
L: You finally going to re-claim
your family or are you going to feed them to the wolves again?
J: I'm back and I'm not going
anywhere. They are my family Luke, make no mistakes about it I will fight for
them.
L: Well it's about god damn time.
That little girl in there has had too much heartache in her life. She deserves
some peace and happiness. You mess up this time Morgan and I will kill you
myself.
J: Understood. Why did Sonny throw
her out?
L: Well our sweet Caroline got
scared, when Sorel got a bomb into her home and Michael almost opened it. Sonny
dismissed her fear and worry as if it were nothing. So what does our girl do
when she is scarred and she feels trapped?
J: She comes up with a plan.
L: Right, well this time her plan
involved working with Roy and trying to get Sonny into the witness protection
program with the FEDS.
Jason sighs.
L: She wanted Michael safe Jason,
she did it for all the right reasons, but Corinthos just shut her out like she
was dead to him.
J: She must have been terrified. I
wish I had been here so she didnıt feel trapped to begin with. Still Sonny had
no right to leave her unprotected. At least she got Michael away and he is
safe.
L: Yeah well Junior has been
terrorizing her these past few months. Some judge actually granted him
visitation rights.
J: AJ won't bother her again.
Michael will never have to know him or the Quartermaines.
Bobbie came out of Carly's room
and ran into Luke's arms.
L: She's a Spencer Barbara Jean.
She will be fine.
B: You can go in now Jason. She is
still unconscious but is holding her own right now.
Jason held his breath as he opened
the door to her room. He really wasn't prepared for what he saw when he
entered. The women lying in the bed didn't even resemble his Carly.
She looked so weak and tiny with
all the tubes running in and out of her. He watched the breathing machine that
was helping her breathe raise and lower steadily. Slowly he approached her
bedside, pulling up a chair next to it and taking a seat. He tried to make out
her face but she was all swollen and bruised. The heartache over took him and
his head fell into his hands and he cried. He thought about their last goodbye
and their bet, her smile and the way she would always say "JASE" in a
way that would make him do anything she wanted. Things weren't supposed to have
turned out like this, she was supposed to be happy and safe, not lying in a
hospital bed fighting for her life. He had let her down time and time again and
now all he wanted was another chance to make things right and to make her
happy. He raised his head wiping away the tears.
J: You can't leave me Carly. I
love you, I am in love with you. Please come back to me and give me a chance to
make you happy. I will never leave you again I promise, just come back to me
and Michael.
Jason laid his head on her bedside
while he held her hand. Just watching the breathing machine and praying that
she would be okay. Luke entered the room, waking Jason out of his trance like
state.
L: Jason, Johnny is here he needs
to speak with you.
J: I don't want to leave her alone
Luke, what if she wakes up?
L: I will stay with her and if
anything changes I will come get you.
J: Okay, I will be right outside
the door.
Jason went out into the hallway to
find Johnny waiting.
Johnny: AJ's been taken care of.
His car went off a cliff an hour ago, he's dead.
J: Good. What about Sonny?
Johnny: Other than forcing him by
gunpoint he wasn't budging. He claims he doesn't care. It looked like he and
Miss Ellis are leaving the country, there were suitcases by the door.
J: What else is new, Sonny ruins
lives, gets people killed and leaves someone else to clean up his messes. Well
I am done. Johnny I have complete control of the Puerto Rico territory, and I
have spoken with the elders they want Sonny dead. He has run this organization
into the ground. I will be taking over. Do you want a promotion?
Johnny: Absolutely boss. What do
you need me to do?
J: You will be my 1st lieutenant
Johnny. I trust you and I need someone loyal right now to do a few things for
me. First off, get in touch with our explosives guy. I want Sonny's jet wired
to explode in the air. He and Miss Ellis won't be reaching their destination as
they planned. Then I want to know which of our guys we can trust, we need
complete loyalty Johnny.
Johnny: Jason there is something
you should know. Some of the men knew Sorel had Carly and wouldn't help save
her.
J: Get together a few men who you
trust, then round up the traitors and make an example out of them, kill them
all. It is important that everyone know that Carly and Michaels protection is
their first priority ALWAYS. So dust off those guns of yours Johnny, there's
gonna be somebloodshedd before all this is over with.
Johnny: It's about time we did our
jobs instead of looking the other way. I'm on it boss. Jason its good to have
you back.
J: Thanks Johnny. Also get Francis
and Renaldo over here I want them posted at Carly's door.
Johnny: You got it.
Jason returned to Carly's room
letting Luke go to comfort Bobbie. He took his seat by her bedside and
continued his vigil over her. He continued to talk to her filling her in on
what was going on and confess his love for her.
A week later:
Days had passed and Carly still
remained unconscious, the breathing tube was removed and she was breathing on
her own again. Bobbie was confident that she was going to wake up and come back
to them any day now. The local papers were busy reporting several big stories.
One being that AJ Quartermaine was killed in an apparent drunk driving
accident, but Luke and Bobbie knew better. Another stated Sonny Corinthos local
mob boss was killed with a women companion when his private jet exploded in mid
air over Mexico.
Jason has resumed control of the
organization with Johnny and Benny's help and lots of meetings run from Carly's
hospital room. He never left her side, he was exhausted but never gave up the
hope that she was going to wake up soon. Johnny was busy tracking down whatever
men were left from Sorel's organization and ridding Port Charles of them. He
was enjoying his job again and did it well. Bobbie had told Jason where Michael
and Leticia were and he sent some men down to bring them home. They were
staying at the Brownstone with Bobbie.
Jason was in his usual spot right
by Carly's bedside. He had fallen asleep with his head resting on her bed while
holding her hand.
Carly was starting to become
aggravated and upset. She began tossing around in her bed frantically crying
out.
C: No please, stop. Please don't
do this, stop.
Jason woke up with a startle as he
heard her cries. She was crying and struggling in her sleep.
He squeezed her hand.
J: Carly, wake up. Carly your
safe, no one will hurt you. Just wake up baby, please wake up.
She slowly began to open her eyes
and she tried to focus on the voice she was hearing. Her vision was blurry and
she strained to gain focus. She pulled her hand out of Jason's in fear. Jason
stood up pushed the button for the nurse.
C: Please don't hurt me anymore,
please stop. She was trying to scramble away from him.
Jason knew she was scared, but
continued to try to calm and reassure her.
J: Carly your safe, its me Jason.
I'm here baby.
Bobbie came into the room, and
rushed to her side, trying to calm her.
B: What happened?
J: I don't know, she was having a
bad dream then she woke up and she's scared of me Bobbie, its like she doesn't
know me.
B: Jason step back please. Carly,
its mama, I'm right here sweetheart and you are safe. No one is going to hurt
you. Your safe. She slowly calmed Carly down and got through to her.
Carly turned and looked right at
Bobbie if finally recognizing her. She started crying.
C: Mama? Where am I?
B: Its okay Carly you are in the
hospital.
C:
MICHAEL!
B: Michael is safe with Leticia at
the brownstone.
C: NO! AJ will get him.
B: Carly, calm down. I promise you
Michael is safe, AJ will never get near him again.
She starts to settle down with
Bobbie's reassurance. As she does a wave of extreme pain comes over her.
C: God mama, it hurts so bad.
B: I know baby just try to relax
and I will go get you some painkiller.
C: Please don't leave me alone.
Carly doesn't see Jason in the
back of the room standing with tears in his eyes watching her in so much pain
and fear.
B: Carly Jason is here, he will
stay with you.
Carly looks confused at her
mother. C: Jason's here?
Bobbie leaned in and whispered to
her. B: He hasn't left your side for a minute. He loves you Carly.
Jason walks over to her and she
sees him for the first time since that night.
J: I'm right here Carly (he gives
her a smile).
She just stares at him unsure of
what's going to happen.
B: I will be right back.
Carly grasps Bobbies hand not
wanting her to leave her alone with Jason, but Bobbie unhooks her hand from
hers and pats it reassuringly. Bobbie leaves and Jason tentatively approaches
Carly and sits down next to her.
J: You had me really scared Carly.
I thought I had lost you for good.
C: I don't know what you want me
to say Jase. I guess I should thank you for coming for me that night. I figured
no one cared if I lived or died.
J: I'm sorry I wasn't here for you
sooner. If I had known.
C: You would have what Jason?
Hired someone to else to take me off Sonny's hands? Or would you have come back
and the left again insisting I was better off without you?
J: I know I deserve that but Carly
I'm back and I'm not leaving.
C: Well good for you Jason. I'm
thrilled for you, maybe you can call Lizzie Webber up and drag her away from
Lucky.
J: Carly stop. I don't care about
Lizzie Webber. I am staying to be with my family, you and Michael. I want us to
be a family again baby, just the three of us. I love you Carly.
Carly was on overload between the
extreme pain she was in, the ordeal with Sorel, and then Jason- it was all just
too much for her and she just shut down. She started to cry uncontrollably and
she turned away from him staring off into space.
Bobbie came in with her
medication, seeing Carly's condition.
B: Jason what happened?
J: Bobbie, I just told her I loved
her and wanted my family back. I don't understand.
B: Jason wait outside please, you
seem to be upsetting her.
J: I don't want to leave her.
B: Jason please this isn't helping
her right now. She needs to calm down and rest, please just wait outside.
Bobbie injected Carly with a
painkiller then a sedative to calm her so she could get the rest she
desperately needed. Jason watched as she started to calm down, then turned and
left the room.
B: Shhh baby, calm down your safe.
Just rest Carly.
Bobbie waited till she had fallen
asleep then went out to find Jason, who was sitting in the hallway outside of
her room.
J: Is she okay?
B: She's sleeping, that's what she
needs the most right now. Her body needs time to heal. Jason, what happened in
there?
J: Bobbie I am telling you I just
tried to tell her how much I loved her and wanted her and Michael back with me.
She seemed bitter and mad, then after I said I loved her she shut down and
freaked out.
B: Jason you have to realize no
one knows exactly what Carly went through with Sorel. We don't know what he did
to her. Not to mention the fact that she Sonny's treatment of her pretty much
had left her broken. Jason she was just through a horribly traumatic
experience, then she wakes up and you are telling her you love her. Can you
imagine what she was thinking? She's scared. The two of you never really
settled things between you when you left her, now your back and she is just on
overload. It's too much for her to handle Jason.
J: I don't want to hurt her
Bobbie, I just want to love her.
B: I know sweetie but right now
she can't handle that. She needs space and time to heal first.
Jason feels like he has been hit
in the stomach all over again, as the tears start to cloud his vision.
J: I need her Bobbie. I don't want
to be without her again.
B: I understand Jason, but she
needs time right now. You need to give her that or you could loose her forever.
If she shuts down completely you will be without her. Give her time Jason, just
let her heal.
J: Okay. I will try, but will you
please talk with her when she's ready to listen?
B: Oh course.
J: Bobbie do you have any rooms
available? I would like to be close to Michael and I have no intentions of
moving into Sonny's penthouse.
B: Actually yes, I do. It just
happens to be next to Carly's. You can have that one Jason. Michael will love
to see his daddy again. Just keep him safe.
J: Thanks Bobbie, I will. Can I go
in and see her while she's a sleep for a little while?
B: Alright, but just for a little
bit.
J: Okay.
He stands and enters her room. He
smiled seeing her sleeping peacefully. Walking over to her, he gently brushed
some stray hairs away from her face.
J: I'm gonna give you the time you
need Carly, but I am not giving up on you. I love you baby. He leaned down and
kissed her forehead before turning to leave to go see Michael.
A week had past and Carly
continued to improve everyday. Jason would sneak in to see her at night while
she slept. Bobbie told Jason she was still not ready to handle a serious
discussion with him just yet, so he abided by her wishes. Jason had moved into
the brownstone and renewed his relationship with Michael. Michael has become
very close to his daddy and they became inseparable. Bobbie filled Carly in on
Sonny and AJ's deaths. Carly knew that Jason was behind them, but she also was
beginning to slowly realize that this was Jason's way of making things safe for
her and Michael, and for that she was grateful. Jason and Johnny has
successfully taken control of not only Sonny's territory but also Sorel's. The
organization was running very smoothly and things were finally quieting down.
Jason had purchased a building a block away from the brownstone and was
renovating it making it into apartments for his men and remodeling the top
floor for his family. He was sure he could win Carly over and he wanted to
surprise her with their new home when she was ready.
Carly's Hospital Room:
B: Carly you are doing so much
better, I think you will be able to come home tomorrow.
C: I miss Michael, I will be glad
to see him again. I just didn't want him to see me in here.
B: Well he and Jason have become
inseparable you know.
C: I'm glad Michael has his daddy
back, I know Jason loves him.
B: What about you?
C: Mama I don't want to deal with
this right now.
B: Well Carly when are you going
to deal with it? Jason is going to be living in the same house as you. Your not
going to be able to avoid him you know.
C: Yeah I can't wait for that.
B: Carly he loves you. For gods
sake you have no idea how torn up he has been. Did you know he still comes to
sit with you every night while you sleep? I've talked to him, sweetheart and
the man loves you with all his heart and he just wants another chance to show
you that.
C: I'm scared Mama. I have always
been in love with Jason, he is it for me. What if he changes his mind again and
leaves me again like last time? I cant go through that again, I just cant go
threw it again and I wont put Michael through that either.
B: Well if this means anything. He
has taken over for Sonny, he's bought a building that he is remolding into a
home for his family. He's planting roots Carly, I know he is planning on
staying. His business and family are here, he's not going anywhere.
C: I just don't know Mama, I don't
know what to do.
B: Will you at least talk to him?
He's been going crazy Carly, just listen to what he has to say.
C: I will think about it.
B: Okay, you do that. I will see
you tomorrow and hopefully we can get you sprung from here then.
C: Thanks Mama.
Night-time came and Carly was
lying in bed thinking about everything her mother had said about Jason. She
wanted so desperately to believe that Jason loved her and that this time they
could make things work between them. Francis entered her room carrying a
beautiful bouquet of roses, a beautifully wrapped present and a tape player.
F: Hi Carly.
C: Hey Francis. More flowers? You
already sent me flowers.
F: Actually these are from the
Jason. He wanted me to set this up also for you.
Francis proceeded to give Carly
the present and a letter. He set up the tape player for her and put it by her
bedside, and set the flowers down in one of the last few open spaces. Jason and
his men had been sending her flowers almost on a daily basis and her room
looked like a florist.
C: What did he say Francis?
F: Just wanted me to give you
these and for you to read the letter then play this tape.
C: Okay thanks.
F: Its good to see you up and
around Carly. I am sorry I wasn't there for you. If I had been aware of what
was going on I wouldn't have let you go through what you did.
C: I know Francis. I also know
what Sonny was like so don't blame yourself. As far as I am concerned it's
forgotten.
F: Thanks Carly.
Francis left Carly alone. She
immediately opened the beautifully wrapped package first. She held the black
velvet jewelry box in her hands she carefully opened it revealing a beautiful
silver locket. Engraved on the front were the initials CM, she opened the
locket and smiled as she stared at a picture of her family. The picture was one
of the three of them, Jason, Michael and her that was taken on the beach in
Florida.
C: Oh Jase.
Next she opened his letter.

I have tried really hard to
give you the space you have needed, but I have to tell you I miss you terribly
baby. I know that I have made a lot of mistakes but the biggest one was trying

Jason waited outside her room
until he heard the song end. He slowly opened the door and stuck his head in.
She was sitting up in the bed crying. She looked up and saw his beautiful face
smiling back at her.
J: So do I get to come in?
C: Yeah.
He slowly approached her now
knowing what she had decided. She held her arms out and open to him. He didn't
waste anytime going to her and pulling her into his arms. He sighed deeply as
his eyes began to tear up. He felt like he had everything right in his arms. It
had been so long since he held her. She belonged in his arms, and he intended

J: So does this mean you are going
to give me another chance.
C: I'm sorry I have been such a
mess lately. I have just been so scarred Jason. You get burned so many times,
you are leery about jumping back into the fire ya know?
J: Baby I am sorry I have caused
you so much pain and heartache. I never want you to feel that ever again. I

They pull apart smiling at each
other. Carly looks down at the pendant she is holding.
C: This is so beautiful Jase, I

C: I have just one question
though. Why are the initials CM on the front? I mean.
J: CM is for Caroline Morgan.
Those will be your initials as soon as we get you out of here and healthy

C: Oh really? You think its gonna
be that easy huh?
J: Yup.
C: Well glad to see you're still
awfully sure of yourself. But see I am afraid I am going to have to require a

J: Believe me Caroline when I
officially propose, you wont have any complaints. He leans in and gently places

A month later:
Jason is leading a blindfolded
Carly out of the limo in front of their new home. He takes the blindfold off of
her revealing the name of the apartment building: C & J Morgan Towers
C: You didn't?
J: Yup, Carly & Jason Morgan

C: You kidding I love it. I feel
so important.
Jason laughed. J: You are

They took the elevator up to the

He starts to remove her long
