Charmed Investigations:
C: Damit! Nothing. It's like he just vanished.
L: Did you really think that we would just be able to spend a few hours on our computers and find him? This is Jason remember.
C: I know. He is one of the best at hiding out. But Lucky we have found nothing.
Lucky is furiously typing on the computer.
L: Wait just a minute here, okay I found her. Kathleen Wolf, which is the real estate agent who rented Jason your old house in Florida. She is now living in Massachusetts and has an agency there called Wolf Realty.
C: Okay well then I guess my first stop will be Massachusetts.
L: Aren't you forgetting something?
C: No don't think so what?
L: Mr. Barnes our latest client. Carly we have a lot of money riding on this case. Money that will help us in tracking down Jason. We have to find Rico before the trial starts next week.
C: Oh god. I had forgotten. Your right. Okay so what do we know so far?
L: The last sighting we had of our illustrious Rico Torres was in Canada, three days ago.
C: He has family there?
L: Girlfriend and a kid there.
C: He's still there then.
L: Is that your gut talking?
C: Yeah I can feel it Lucky we go to Canada and we find Mr. Torres.
L: Okay. I will book us the next flight out.
C: Yeah fine. I just want to get this done and over with so we can concentrate on Jason. Actually, book us on a flight to Mass. from Canada we can pay a visit to Ms. Wolf on our way back.
L: Sounds good.
C: I am going to go change and go running. I need to try to clear my mind.
L: Are you sure you are going to be all right?
C: I will be Lucky, I will be. See you later cous.
Carly went in back and changed. She looked at herself in the mirror. She didn't recognize the reflection staring back at her. New lines appeared and her eyes had lost their shine. She slowly raised her hand and traced her finger over her reflection in the mirror.
C: I am going to find you Jason. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath she felt a sharp pain in her heart. She opened her eyes as she felt a surge of energy rush throughout her body. 'Madame Raven' she whispered.
Carly left the office and started running. A million things going through her mind; Jason, his letter, their love, Michael. She had been running for over an hour, she had no idea where she was running to until she suddenly stopped and looked at where she ended up. The familiar neon sign glowed strongly in the window. She smiled and made her way inside. The beautiful smell of lavender hit her. She closed her eyes and inhaled deeply enjoying the calming scent.
R: Well child, I see you have found your way back.
C: Madame Raven. The tears sprung instantly to her eyes as she tried to speak.
R: Come girl sit. Everything will be okay.
Carly entered the parlor. It felt good to be home. Madame Raven had been an excellent teacher and trusted friend. Carly knew she would be able to help her.
Raven sat across from Carly at the table. She poured them each a cup of green tea.
R: You have lost your way Carly. You closed your heart and soul off. Raven studied Carly for a moment, placing her hands on top of hers.
R: You are not wearing your talisman, and your charkas my god girl you are a mess. You haven't been practicing have you?
C: No. I.
R: He still loves you child. He is alive and well and still loves you.
C: Jason
R: Your true love, your soul mate, Yes.
R: You have a great deal of work ahead of you though; you must open yourself back up to the energies and spirits around you. Carly you have been blessed with many gifts. You have a natural way about you, but when you closed your heart and soul off you lost your abilities to focus and use these gifts.
C: Can you help me find my way back?
R: Of course. But you already know the way my child. The Goddess is ready and willing to help you. You just need to ask for her blessings. We are entering the full moon it is a perfect time for you to begin drawing down the moon and call upon Venus to help you connect with your heart and soul.
C: I felt a sharp pain in my heart earlier and a huge rush of energy flow through me.
R: You now are on your way child. Just let yourself open up your heart and soul. They have been dormant for too long. Once you do that you will be able to connect to your true love.
C: We used to be able to you know. I always new what he was feeling and vice versa. Then when he left everything ended and I lost that connection. R: You will find it again, just focus your energies. Here I have something for you.
She gets up and goes into the next room and returns carrying a beautiful necklace. She hands it to Carly.
R: This charm is of amethyst and rose agate. These stones represent true love and passion. Wear them in your quest to find your true love.
Carly stands and hugs Raven.
C: Thank you Madame Raven. I know what I must do.
R: Blessed be child.
C: Blessed be Raven.
With that Carly turns and leaves. She stops at a near by phone booth and calls a cab to take her back home.
She arrives home and enters her apartment. She picks up the phone and dials her mom.
C: Hey mom.
B: Carly are you okay? Lucky stopped by and filled me in. I am so sorry baby.
C: I will be fine mama. I'm going to find Jason, don't worry.
B: Carly its been three years. He may not want to be found.
C: He still loves me I can feel it. If nothing else I have to see him again and explain. Listen, I don't want to talk about this right now, can you just keep Michael tonight. I need to be alone and figure some things out.
B: Sure thing. He and Lucas are camping outside tonight; I don't think I could drag him away if I wanted to. Just take care of your self and I will see you in the morning.
C: Thanks mama. Give Michael a kiss goodnight for me and tell him I love him.
B: Okay baby, get some rest.
Carly hangs up the phone and heads for the bathroom to get a bath. She lights candles and fills the tub with lots of bubble and lavender bath oil. She gets undressed and turns her CD player on, then sinks into the hot scented water.
The song ends and Carly gets out of her bath.
C: I will find you Jason Morgan that you can count on.
She makes her way into her bedroom and slips into her silk nightgown and makes her way out in the living room. She opens her closet and begins taking out her candles. She lights them and places them all over the room. She saves 4 candles taking them with her into the middle of the room. She slowly takes a handful of lavender and rose petals out from her bag and begins to sprinkle them around her forming a circle. She sits down in the center of the circle and lights the 4 candles, calling upon the 4 corners; north, south, east and west to guide her in connecting with Jason.
She sits quietly in the circle and pulls out a picture of Jason and holds it to her heart concentrating and focusing all her energy on him. She begins to silently say over and over again in her mind. "Don't give up on me Jason, I still love you." "Don't give up on me Jason, I still love you."
Suddenly an image of Jason pops into her head. He is asleep on a couch, and she can see his face is tear stained and he is holding a picture, she wills her self to look closer to the picture trying to make out what it is of. She concentrates and can see it is a picture of her, Michael and Jason when they were together as a family. As quickly as the image popped into her head it left her and was replaced with a sharp pain to her heart that took her breath away. Her eyes popped open and she gasped for breath clutching her heart. She knew she was feeling his pain. His heart was broken, and she had been the one to break it.

Jason was still asleep on the couch. He was shaking as his dreams took him to a dark room. He saw candles lit everywhere and he could hear a women�s voice. He strained to make out what she was saying. He walked further into the room and saw a women dressed in a white silk nightgown holding a candle. The glow of the flame illuminated her golden blonde hair. He walked toward her. He couldn't make out her face but the voice was getting clearer and clearer. "Don't give up on me Jason, I still love you." "Don't give up on me Jason, I still love you." It was Carly's voice. It was clear as day. He suddenly woke up gasping for a breath.
J: Carly!
He could feel her presence all around him. He inhaled deeply and could swear he smelt her wonderful warm vanilla scent. He closed his eyes as a single tear made its way down his cheek. He felt a wash of energy surge through his body as he sat up.
J: What is going on? My mind is playing tricks on me. But god I swear I can feel her. "I still need you Carly, god baby I still love you."
He got up and wearily made his way back out into the garage and started working on a bike, trying to get his mind off of pain emanating from his chest. If he stayed busy maybe he could forget just for a little while.
