Slowly she began to stir. The total completeness she felt was unbelievable. She smiled as she felt Jason's arms still holding her tightly. Remembering what they had done she began to feel giddy. It was amazing. She hadn't realized sex could be like that. Jason had made it so special for them. She slowly opened her eyes trying to take in her surroundings. It was daylight and they were lying by the river.
C: THE RIVER? HOLY SHIT!!
Frantically she sat up nudging Jason. "Jason get up, it's morning!"
J: What?
C: Jason it's morning. We spent the whole night here!
Jason sat up, "Carly calm down."
C: Calm down? Are you kidding me? My dad is gonna kill me!
Jason grabbed her arms trying to still her. "Carly, look at me."
C: Jase we got to get home.
J: Please just look at me. Now take a deep breath.
She exhaled and composed herself. "Okay, I'm calm." Jason smiled and leaned in giving her a sweet gentle kiss.
J: Good morning baby.
Carly couldn't help but smile. "Morning Jase." He pulled her into his arms. "Last night was the best Carly." Relaxing a bit she snuggled into his chest.
C: Yeah it was Jase. I love you.
J: I love you too.
C: Jase we really do have to get going.
J: I know I just don't want this to end.
C: Me either. Think my dad won't notice I wasn't home all night? (She looked up at him hopeful).
Jason just gave her a look "You mean the man who is totally possessive of his little baby girl?"
C: Well I can hope right? Come on let's get home.
The two quickly got dressed and jumped in the jeep driving to Carly's house. The ride home was silent, Carly held Jason's hand as she looked out the window, praying her father wouldn't freak out. Once they arrived at her house Jason shut the Jeep off and squeezed her hand.
J: Do you want me to come in with you?
C: You want to die young?
J: Carly -
C: No it's okay Jase. I will be fine.
J: No one can take last night away from us.
Carly touched the side of his face. She loved how thoughtful he was. "I know Jase."
J: Call me later. It's Saturday and I want to spend the day with you.
C: Well if I am not grounded.
J: Just call me okay?
C: I will.
J: I love you.
C: I love you too Jase.
She gave him a gentle kiss then slowly exited the Jeep. She glanced at her watch again, 5AM. She rolled her eyes and quietly made her way into her house. Before closing the door she turned back around and watched Jason back down out of the driveway. She couldn't help but smile, her fingers traced over her lips, remembering the feel of Jason's lips on hers. Taking a deep breath she silently closed the door and made her way up the darkened staircase. The house seemed quiet which was a good sign. Tiptoeing down the hallway she snuck into her room quickly.
*********************************************Harbor View Towers:
Jason pulled into the parking garage and found Francis waiting by the service elevator for him.
F: You're in big trouble kid.
J: Oh please, I am fine.
F: Well you can explain to Sonny then why you ditched school and were out all night without your guard.
Jason rolled his eyes and followed Francis into the elevator.
F: So kid out all night, were you with Spencer's girl?
J: Her name is Carly and yes I was with her last night.
F: Well for your sake I hope her dad doesn't find out.
J: Yeah me too.
They exited the elevator and Francis patted Jason on the back. "It's been nice knowing you kid."
Jason took a deep breath and entered the penthouse. He spotted Sonny sitting on the couch with a drink in his hand.
S: Nice of you to finally make it home. Get in here and sit down.
*******************************************************The Spencer Household:
Her room was dark as she entered, dropping her backpack to the floor, as she fumbled with the light switch. As the light illuminated the room she jumped when she found her mother sitting on her bed.
C: Oh my god you scared me!
L: And you don't think I have been scared to death wondering where you have been all night?
C: Mom.
L: Don't mom me Caroline Spencer. Where have you been?
C: I'm sorry mom. I lost track of time. Jason and I were down by the river and we fell asleep.
Laura got up off the bed and grabbed Carly pulling her into a hug. "I was worried sick about you."
C: I didn't mean to worry you, I am really sorry.
Laura pulled back and looked into her daughter's eyes. "Come sit down with me." They both sat down on the bed. "Carly you were out all night with a boy. You are lucky your father is off fishing with Roy, he would have had a heart attack."
C: Mom please don't tell dad. He would never let me see Jason again.
L: Honey I know you love Jason and you know I like him, but baby you have got to be more careful. Carly did you sleep with Jason?
C: Mom!
L: Look young lady, I remember what it was like to be young and in love. Your father and I were young ourselves once you know. I just, (she grabbed Carly's hand and brushed a strand of hair away from her face) you will always be my little girl, and I will always worry about you. I just want to make sure you are being careful and using protection.
Carly froze! Protection. Oh my god we never used protection her mind was screaming at her.
L: Carly are you and Jason having sex?
C: Mom I �(she caught her mother's eye, once she looked into her mom's eye she knew she couldn't lie). "Yes we had sex. Tonight was our first time."
L: Oh baby.
Laura pulled her into a hug, rubbing her back. "Mom it was the most incredible thing."
Laura smiled. "I'm glad your first time was special. You will always have those memories. But Carly I really don't think you are ready to get involved in a serious sexual relationship."
C: Mom I love Jason.
L: Honey I don't doubt your love for Jason. But becoming sexually active is a serious commitment, one that carries with it a lot of responsibility.
C: I know that mom.
L: Do you Carly? What kind of protection did you use tonight?
Carly's face went white and she remained silent.
L: You did use protection right? Carly?
C: We� (She suddenly burst into tears).
L: Oh god baby please tell me you used some kind of birth control.
******************************************Sonny's Penthouse:
Sonny got up and walked over to Jason.
S: Did you forget the rules Jason?
J: Sonny, I
S: Shut up and listen! You ditched school and your guard again, and then stayed out all night without letting me know where you were. You know the life I lead Jason. You are always a target.
J: I'm sorry, I didn't think.
S: That's right you didn't think! Who were you with, or do I even need to ask?
J: I was with Carly.
Sonny rubbed his hand over his face, exhaling heavily. "Caroline Spencer?"
J: Yes I love her.
S: Jesus Jason! You put her at risk tonight. Do you want to get her killed?
J: No! I'm sorry. We just wanted to be alone.
S: Alone? Don't tell me your sleeping with Luke Spencer's daughter.
Jason remained silent, looking down at the ground.
S: You are aren't you?
J: Sonny I told you we love each other.
S: Jason I am sure you think you love this girl but you are both so young.
J: I don't think I love her. I DO love her. God Sonny you think that just because we are young we can't really be in love? I would have thought you would have understood.
S: All right, listen come have a seat. (He motioned for Jason to have a seat on the couch).
They both sat down facing each other.
S: So you love this girl huh?
J: I really do. She is the best part of me. I need her Sonny. I need her with me.
S: Well okay then. So you are in love, okay.
J: I have never felt this way about anyone in my life. Carly is the one.
S: Whoa wait a sec here! It is one thing to be in love but yet another to think this girl is "the one." Jason you can't possibly know that yet.
J: I do know that Sonny. I love her and I want to be with her for the rest of my life.
Sonny just shook his head, not quite knowing how to handle this. He had never dealt with this before. Jason was like a son to him and he just didn't know how to go about this.
S: Okay look. I guess that I have no idea how you feel. But I am concerned about this Jason. There is a lot of responsibility that comes with having sex with someone. I just hope your ready for all that responsibility.
J: Sonny I am sorry I ditched my guard today. I promise not to do it again. I would never intentionally put Carly in danger.
S: Jason I know you wouldn't but being close to me automatically puts her in danger. But that is not what I am most concerned about right now. I just hope you are being careful and practicing safe sex.
Jason wasn't sure what to say. For the first time it actually hit him that he hadn't used any protection. He wasn't sure if Carly was on the pill or not, but he forgot to use a condom.
S: Jason you did use a condom didn't you?
