Park:
Carly is feeding Jason a spoonful of chocolate-almond ice cream.
C: Thank you for a great afternoon. I haven't had a day like this in a long time.
J: I had fun too. I love us being able to have days like this, just you Michael and me.
He notices her favoring her right hand. He reaches gently for it, inspecting it.
J: Let me see that hand. Baby it's bruising already. Maybe we should go to the hospital and have it checked.
C: It's fine Jase.
J: Carly, I can tell it hurts you.
C: It does but you know what? It was SO worth it. I've wanted to punch that little pixie forever.
Jason laughs at her excitement. J: At least promise me you will let Bobbie check it out.
He raises her hand to his lips and places a few soft kisses over the already purplish bruise.
C: I will but your touch is all the healing I need.
J: Carly I need to go wrap up some business. Why don't you go back to the hotel with Michael, maybe take a nap. I will pick you up later and we can go to Luke's tonight.
C: I don't want to see Luke. Let's just stay in tonight.
J: Well, I need us to be seen in public tonight.
Carly studies his face; he was in his business mode. After searching his eyes, she strokes his cheek reassuring him gently.
C: Okay Jase. I trust you.
J: Thank you Carly.
He leans over and kisses her.
J: Come on lets get going. I will drop you off at the hotel and get you guys situated before I head out.
C: You going to tuck me into bed?
J: Of course baby.
He stands holding his hand out for her.
********************************************Port Charles Hotel:
After reading Michael a story and tucking him in for a nap; Jason led Carly over to their room and into the bedroom.
J: Come on I want you to take a nap too.
C: I am actually really tired. You sure you can't join me? (She begins kissing his neck, trying to tempt him).
J: If I could I would. I need to wrap up a business matter. It can't wait any long. I'm sorry baby.
(She pulls back giving him a pout) C: Promise you'll make it up to me later?
J: You bet I will. Now come here, lets get you out of these clothes.
Pulling her closer to him he started to undress her. Carly lets him take control, enjoying his gentle touch. He was so tender with her. Once she was standing only in her bra and thong, he took her hand and led her over to the bed. He turned the sheets down for her.
J: Okay in you go.
Carly crawled into bed snuggling into the smooth silk sheets. Jason sat down on the bed next to her fixing the covers up around her.
J: Get some sleep baby. I will be back before you know it.
Leaning down he kissed her lips softly then her forehead.
J: I love you Carly. I will never let anyone hurt you baby.
Carly knew something was on his mind, but she didn't push him. She just smiled.
C: I love you too Jason. Please be careful.
J: Always. Now close your eyes and have sweet dreams baby.
He waited till she had fallen asleep. Lightly brushing a few stray strands of hair away from her face he place another kiss on her forehead before leaving. He was going to make sure she did not have to worry about Sonny ever again. His days of bowing to Sonny Corinthos were over with.
J: Marco. No one gets in to see Carly. She is resting I don't want her disturbed. I will be back in a few hours.
M: Okay boss.
He left the hotel, jumping on his bike to head over to the safe house where the boys were holding Sonny.
******************************************Safe House:
Johnny and Francis are sitting playing cards as Sonny is watching on tied up to a chair. The ringing phone breaks up Sonny's whining.
F: Yeah, you got it boss.
He turns around to face Sonny.
F: Jason will be here shortly Sonny boy. Then the games can begin.
Johnny: Thank god cause I'm getting sick of his whining.
F: No shit. (The boys turn back to their card game)
S: You two buffoons think that working for Jason is going to be a better deal for you? I can triple whatever he said he'd pay you.
Johnny and Francis laughed. Johnny got up and walked over to Sonny.
J: You think that this is about money? This is about loyalty. Something you know nothing about.
S: Loyalty? I have never been disloyal to the commission.
J: Perhaps not but you have betrayed your family. What you did to Jason and Carly was the worst possible betrayal.
S: Carly, Carly, Carly. I'm sick of hearing about that slut. She's nothing but a money hungry whore. What did you fuck her Johnny? Is that why you are so passionate about protecting Carly.
Johnny starts throwing punches left and right, pummeling his face. Francis pulls him off of Sonny.
F: Come on man, don't let this garbage get to you. The boss wants to have the pleasure himself.
Just then Jason arrives and sees Francis pulling Johnny off of Sonny. He laughs at the sight of his men having fun at Sonny's expense.
J: Are you guys having fun with out me?
Johnny: Ah, sorry boss.
J: Don't be. He deserves everything he's going to get.
Jason walks over and kneels down in front of a bloodied Sonny.
J: Well Sonny boy are you enjoying your accommodations? I guess it's a little different that what you are used to huh?
Sonny spits a mouthful of blood at Jason and smiles.
S: She's a good fuck Jase. But in the end she's just another cheap piece of ass.
Jason laughed.
J: See you've never had Carly. I mean not really had her. You had worthless sex, but she never gave you her heart and soul. That must have just eaten you up inside didn't it Sonny? Knowing that the woman you married had given her heart and soul to another man, to me no less.
J: Un-tie him.
F: Boss?
J: Do it and put a table in front of him.
Johnny moves a table in front of Sonny while Francis un-ties Sonny's hands. He stays right behind him making sure he doesn't try anything.
Jason takes his gun out with his silencer on and hands it to Johnny.
J: Make sure Mr. Corinthos here is cooperative.
Johnny: My pleasure.
Jason takes out a group of papers from his pocket, and sets them down in front of Sonny along with a pen.
J: Sign them.
S: What the fuck are these? I'm not signing anything.
J: Those are your divorce papers. You're giving Carly a divorce. You're also going to sign over your shares of Deception to her.
S: The fuck I am - no way!
Jason steps aside allowing Johnny to step up and aim the gun at Sonny, blowing a hole in one of his kneecaps, while Francis pinned his arms back behind him. Sonny screamed out in pain.
Jason held his hand up signally to wait.
J: I suggest you rethink that Sonny. I can make your death a very painful one or I can end it quickly for you. It's your choice.
S: Go to hell!
Johnny took out his other kneecap. As Sonny writhed in pain Jason grabbed his hair pulling his head back to look at him.
J: You will sign these now, or you will force me to become much more creative. (He pulls his knife out placing it in clear view so that Sonny got his message).
S: Fine you want that little whore so badly? You can have her. I'm done with her!
Jason nods to Francis who helps Sonny sign the papers. Jason smiles and takes the papers tucking them safely away in his coat pocket.
J: See how easy that was.
He takes Carly's rings he's been holding onto and places them down in front of Sonny.
J: She will not need these anymore.
Sonny can barely speak as he is gasping for air as the intense pain is racking threw his body.
Jason kicks the table away from him. J: Francis, tie him back up.
Crouching in front of him again Jason pulls out a picture of Carly and Michael. "I want you to take a good long look Sonny boy." Jason yanks his head up so that he can clearly see the picture. "I said look at it!" Sonny looks at the picture of Carly and Michael with an evil grin on his face.
J: This is MY FAMILY. I've taken them back. Carly is back in MY BED and Michael is calling ME "daddy". Didn't you ever wonder Sonny why Carly would only allow Michael to call you "Uncle"? She knew no one else would ever take my place in Michael's life. Now they are back with me for good.
He stands and walks behind Sonny. Before he leaves he plunges his knife into Sonny's back and twists it a few times. As Sonny is screaming in agony, Jason leans in to his ear. "I'm finally returning this to you. I finally was able to pull it out of my back." "By the way, one last final image for you. It was MY NAME that Carly was screaming out over and over again last night, this morning and well this afternoon also. She is FINALLY back where she belongs." "Have fun in hell Sonny."
Jason turns to a smiling Francis and Johnny.
J: Wait till I call you from Luke's later. Once Carly and I are in a public place, finish him off and dump the body. Oversee the clean up team as well.
Francis and Johnny: Our pleasure.
J: Thanks guys. I'll be in touch.
Jason leaves the house stepping into the cool night air. He inhales deeply letting the fresh air fill his lungs. He felt free. Finally free. Carly waiting for him in bed brings a smile to his face. He jumps on his bike heading straight for her warm embrace and their future.
