Jason slowly wakes, his eyes opening to the sight of Carly asleep on his chest. A smile immediately appears on his face, as a rush of pure happiness sweeps over him, he finally felt complete. His family was with him, they were all safe and together and Carly was in his arms once again where she belonged. He gently brushed a stray hair away from her face and kissed her forehead.
C: Mmmm Jase.
She started to stir and flutter her eyes open.
J: Morning baby.
C: Good Morning. I had the best nights sleep last night. You do wonders for me baby.
J: You worked magic on me also. Having you in my arms is a cure all.
Carly fought to wake up as she began stretching and sitting up. She looked up at the open sky window and smiled. C: I wasn't dreaming. God that is so beautiful Jason.
Jason sat up next to her wrapping his arms around her waist and kissing her shoulder.
J: No baby you're the one that is beautiful.
Carly turned her head to catch his lips in a kiss. C: Can I keep you?
J: Only if its forever baby.
She rested her head on his shoulder snuggling into his embrace.
C: So what's on your agenda today?
J: Well I need to get over to the Puerto Rico operations and do some work and meet with the men. I want to make sure everyone is aware that my family is with me now and that your safety will always be their first priority.
C: Will you be back tonight?
J: I should be yes. I don't want to spend any more nights away from you if I can help it.
C: Good answer Mr. Morgan.
(chuckling) J: What about you? You going to do some shopping?
C: Ooo that sounds like a great idea. I really do need to pick Michael and I up a few things. I'll see if Leticia wants to join us and we will make a day of it.
J: I'll have Johnny and Renaldo take you guys. Renaldo knows this island like the back of his hand so he can show you around.
C: Okay sounds good. Do you need me to pick you up anything?
J: Well I don't think I personally need anything. But there are some things that you could get that I would enjoy.
Carly looks up at him. C: Oh really? What might that be?
J: I really enjoyed seeing you in that satiny underwear set you had on last night. You could get yourself more of the same. That would make me a very happy man.
C: Well I definitely want to satisfy all your needs Mr. Morgan.
She turns to him, sitting up on her knees. She runs her fingertip over his lips, then switches to her tongue and glides it over Jason's bottom lip. He runs his hands threw her hair grabbing the back of her neck pulling her closer to him as his mouth attacks hers. He growls as she bites his bottom lip; he opens his mouth awaiting her warm tongue to meet his. Their kiss ignites as Jason falls backwards on the bed pulling Carly down on top of him. A ringing phone interrupts their passionate moment. Carly pulls away from him as Jason continues to kiss her neck ignoring the phone.
C: I don't think they are going to go away. Jase?
Jason lets out a frustrated sigh as Carly moves off of him; he reaches for his cell phone on the nightstand.
J: WHAT?
S: Jason it's Sonny.
J: Oh Sonny, ah what do you want?
Carly froze at the mention of Sonny's name. She sat up searching for something to throw on. Jason tried grabbing for her, but she was out of the bed before he could reach her.
S: I want to know where she is Jason.
J: I'm not telling you anything Sonny so forget it. We went over this the other day. You don't deserve her or Michael. They are finally happy and safe and I will not let you near them again.
S: Awfully strong words Jason. If I didn't know any better I would say that you have them with you now as we speak.
J: If you want to discuss business I will talk to you. Otherwise we have nothing further to talk about. Carly and Michael are no longer your concern Sonny. I suggest you move on with your life cause it's going to be without them.
S: Fine. How are things then in Puerto Rico? Are you watching over MY organization properly?
J: You know what Sonny if you don't think I am handling things properly then why don't you fly down here and check on things yourself.
S: That's a good idea Jason. I will be there in a few days.
J: Whatever. Jason throws the phone down as he searches the room to see where Carly had gone.
He gets up and throws on his boxers and a pair of shorts and heads down the hall to Michael's room. He looks into the room and finds Carly rocking Michael in the rocking chair looking out the window.
J: Hey
C: Hey
Michael lights up when he sees Jason enter the room and he reaches for him.
M: Daddy!
Carly gets up and hands Michael to Jason.
J: Morning buddy, did you sleep well in your new room?
Michael shakes his head yes; then goes back to playing with Jason's hair.
C: Jase I'm gonna go jump in the shower. Can you bring Michael downstairs for breakfast?
J: Carly -
C: Please Jason.
J: Okay, we will talk later.
She leans in and gives Michael a kiss on the forehead and Jason a kiss on the cheek.
C: Mr. Man you be a good boy for daddy.
M: K Mommy.
Carly heads into the bathroom for her shower as Jason takes Michael downstairs.
Leticia and Reginald are down in the kitchen preparing breakfast.
L: Good morning!
J: Hey guys, good morning!
Leticia goes and takes Michael from Jason. L: How about some blueberry pancakes for breakfast Michael?
Michael gets all excited squirming in her arms. M: Yeah!
J: Well it doesn't take much to make him happy does it? Leticia do you mind feeding him? I'm going to go talk to Carly.
L: Of course not. Michael and I will have a good time making a mess I'm sure.
J: I think Carly plans on seeing if you want to go shopping with her today. I will have Johnny and Renaldo go with you guys.
L: Oh okay sounds good.
*****************************************Jason heads back upstairs to their bedroom. He walks in and hears the shower running he opens the door to the bathroom and gets undressed and slips into to the steamy hot water behind Carly. He wraps his arms around her silky wet skin and she leans back into him.
J: You okay?
C: I am now. What did he want Jase?
J: The usual, he demanded to know where you were. I won't let him anywhere near you or Michael. He will never hurt you again.
C: That's just it Jason. He can call you whenever he wants. It won't be long before he knows where I am. I don't want to live with the fear that one day he is going to just show up here. I can't live like that.
Jason turns her around to face him. He takes her face into his hands.
J: Do you trust me Carly?
C: Of course I do Jase.
J: Then please believe me baby. I will never let him hurt you again. I promise you.
C: I believe you Jase. (He leans down and kisses her.)
J: I want you to enjoy your day and let me handle Sonny okay?
C: Okay it's a deal.
J: Good. Now do you need any help?
C: Well I still need to wash my hair.
J: Sounds like the perfect job for me. He runs his hands up and down her slippery wet skin.
Carly giggles and hands him the shampoo, turning her back to him so he can wash her hair.
Jason pours some shampoo into his hands and lathers up her hair, massaging her head.
J: This stuff smells great.
C: its shampoo for your hair and body - isn't it yummy?
J: I like.
He finishes and lets her rinse her hair while he lathers up himself, then joins her under the water rinsing off.
They exit the shower and wrap up in towels. Carly grabs an extra towel to help Jason dry his back off. She places little kisses along over his back as she goes continues to dry him off.
Jason turns around taking her into his arms and deeply inhaling the wonderful smell of her hair.
J: I really like that stuff; it's not all flowery like your other stuff.
C: It's called Montage and its for men and women.
J: Why don't you pick up some of that for us when you go out today.
Carly chuckles C: Okay darling, what ever you want.
J: Whatever?
He leans down and begins kissing her neck.
C: Don't you have to get going Jase?
J: (He sighs) Yeah your right. I don't want to though.
C: But the sooner you get your business taken care of the sooner you can come home and see what I ended up buying.
J: You think I might get a fashion show later?
C: I'm sure that can be arranged.
J: Good, I'd like that.
Jason leaves Carly in the bathroom to blow-dry her hair while he goes into the bedroom to get dressed. As he is finishing up Carly walks into the room in a cute little bra and thong, heading for the closet. Jason actually feels his knees weaken and he sits down on the bed, watching his beautiful girl. He smiled at the thought that she was HIS.
J: You know what you're doing is very dangerous little girl.
(Carly looks over her shoulder at him with a raised brow) C: Oh really, and why is what I'm doing dangerous Mr. Morgan? I'm just getting dressed.
Jason gets up from the bed walking over to her. He leans in really close to her, his warm breath tickling her skin. She closes her eyes as his closeness takes her breath away.
J: It's dangerous because I can't be held responsible for my actions if you keep parading around in these sexy little lingerie sets. A man could go crazy with lust for you baby.
(Carly leans back into him purring, as his hands move up and down her stomach)
C: Well then I better not buy anything new then today. I wouldn't want to drive you crazy.
She pulls away from him ducking under his arms as he tries to grab her.
C: I guess there won't be any fashion show tonight then. Cause I am all about protecting your mental health Jase.
J: Carly your not serious are you? I mean I was just teasing you-I LOVE when you wear sexy lingerie.
C: I don't know Jase, I mean I am starting over here, it's a new life for me and I think that I really should have a complete make-over top to bottom starting with my lingerie.
Carly turned away from him trying to keep her laughter in check. She wanted to try to pull this off so that she could really surprise him tonight. Jason studied her with a confused look on his face. This had not gone, as he had wanted. He only wanted to tease her a little bit before he left for work, maybe get her back into bed for a quickie. Certainly not get her to stop wearing the lingerie he LOVED seeing her in. She finished throwing on a cute little dress and was slipping on her sandals. She walked over to her dresser, grabbing her perfume and spraying some behind her ears catching Jason's blank look on his face - she had gotten him good.
C: Jase? Honey you coming downstairs with me?
Jason looked at her confused and dazed at his blunder.
J: Carly, I was just joking baby. I don't want you to change one bit. I love you EXACTLY the way you are.
Carly slinked over to him.
C: Jase, you may have been joking but I think you had a valid point. It probably is a good time for change. (she gave him a quick kiss on the cheek) So you coming or what?
She heads out into the hallway silently cracking up with laughter inside. Jason following behind her.
J: Shit, I so suck. I need to learn to keep my mouth shut. (he mumbled to himself).
********************************After breakfast, Jason is getting ready to leave for his office and Carly and Leticia are getting Michael ready to leave to go shopping.
J: Carly stay with Johnny and Renaldo, no ditching them okay?
C: I promise to be good Jase.
He takes her in his arms giving her a kiss goodbye.
C: Have a good day and be careful.
J: I will baby. I will see you guys tonight.
Jason walks out with Johnny making his way to the car.
J: Stay close today. Sonny is a loose cannon, I know he's planning something.
Johnny: Of course boss.
J: Johnny, who do we have in PC that would be looking to move up in the organization?
Johnny: Francis is pretty sick of taking Sonny's crap. I bet if you were to approach him he would jump at any opportunity to join us.
J: Good, cause I have a special job for him. Thanks man. Keep them safe.
Johnny: I'll check in with you later boss.
J: Thanks Johnny.
**************************************C: Okay Mr. Man, you ready to go shopping with Mommy and Leticia?
M: Toys!
(Leticia laughs) L: Oh yeah, you've got him trained well.
C: Well he is a smart boy.
They head outside to find Johnny and Renaldo waiting by the SUV for them.
C: All right boys we are ready to hit those shops.
****************************************Jason's Office:
Jason picks up his phone dialing up Francis.
F: Hello
J: It's Jason, don't show any recognition. Is Sonny with you?
F: No. I can talk.
J: Well Francis, I have a proposition for you. I spoke with Johnny earlier who tells me you might be interested in moving up in the organization and coming over to work with me.
F: I'd be interested definitely.
J: Good. Then I have a job for you. Before we start, know that if you betray me you're a dead man.
F: I will prove my loyalty sir.
J: Sonny is planning on coming down here to Puerto Rico, I'm sure he will have you accompanying him.
F: Yes he plans to leave tonight.
J: Then you will have to work quickly. I don't want him to walk off that plane. I want to see your creativity Francis. This is an important test, you show me you can handle this job and you will be rewarded.
F: I won't let you down sir.
J: Good see you when you get here then.
********************************************Leticia and Carly have had a successful day shopping. Carly went crazy at Victoria's Secret with plans to blow Jason's mind later in the evening. Michael is wiped out and taking a nap and the girls are chatting in the sunroom. They find themselves talking about the wonderful men in their lives and the subject of marriage comes up. What neither girls know is that Jason has just arrived home and is listening at the door.
C: So now that you got Reginald away from the crazy Quartermaine's when is the wedding?
L: Well you will have to ask Reginald about that, we have talked about it but he hasn't proposed yet or anything.
C: Well I know he will. He loves you Ticia, and the way he looks at you. God you have got him girl.
L: What about you, do you think you and Jason will get married?
C: I hope that someday we will. We have both been through so much. When and if I get married again I want it to be forever. I have been in two loveless marriages now that were both disasters. You know I have never had the whole romantic proposal. I want it to be perfect. I want a proposal that I can tell my children about.
L: I know what you mean, my idea of a perfect proposal is just the two of us on the beach in the moonlight.
C: That sounds great, very romantic.
L: What would be perfect for you?
C: Well, a proposal should be magical; like in a room filled with a thousand of white daisies, and candlelight everywhere. A moment where time stands still for the two of you, ya know? I've always dreamed of a moment like that.
L: That sounds so beautiful. Maybe someday we will have our moments.
C: Yeah. Look at us, we are both crying like crazy. I have to get going, it's getting late and I am exhausted!
L: Me too, but I had a blast. You can really shop Carly!
Jason smiles and chuckles, he knew all to well how good of a shopper Carly was, he loved to see her eyes and face light up when she found something she "had to have". He quickly ducked out of the hallway so she didn't see him. Once he knew that Sonny was taken care of he was going to give Carly her magical proposal, there was nothing more he wanted then for her to become his wife. He went back out to go over the events of the day with Johnny quickly before he joined Carly upstairs.
