Carly storms into her training room and heads over to her CD player and presses play, turning the volume all the way up.
She heads over to the weight bag and starts unloading all her pent up anger on it. She starts screaming and shouting while throwing punches and kicks wildly at the bag.
C: You bastard! Think you can just summon me whenever you feel like!
C: AHHHH MEN!! She continues pummeling the bag with spinning kicks and punches.
C: Nobody tells me what to do! That Fucking Bastard!
Jason walks into the apartment hearing music blaring in the training room. He walks down the hallway looking in to find Carly screaming and yelling while beating the shit out of the weight bag. He slowly enters approaching her. Walking behind the bag, holding it for Carly. She looks at him briefly with fire in her eyes, and continues to unload on the bag.
Jason wonders how she can stand this music so loud. He has never seen her so worked up before. He knew she was strong but she was transcending herself and it was scarring him. If she let loose like this on Sonny and Lizzie, she would definitely kill them single handily.
When the music stops it is like a switch is flipped and Carly stops, falling to her knees gasping for air. Jason walks behind her kneeling down and wrapping his arms around her trying to comfort her. Carly freaks and squirms out of his grasp spinning around to face him. She stares at him in an almost trance like state looking right threw him, still trying to catch her breath. Jason slowly reaches out and touches her face gently, trying to calm her.
J: Carly, baby calm down. I'm not the enemy, I love you.
Carly could hear his words but it was like he was talking to her miles away, she felt like she was out of her body somehow. She slowly got her breathing under control and re-entered her body, feeling Jason's hand on her face. She quickly met his eyes, seeing the concern in his ice blue eyes. She leaned into his hand, and closed her eyes.
C: Jase?
J: Yeah baby, I am right here. He moves around and pulls her into an embrace, tightening his arms around her protectively.
C: Carly snuggles into his chest, relaxing in his arms while listening to the gentle steady beat of his heart.
J: You had me scarred there baby.
C: I'm sorry, I am fine Jase.
She pulls out of his arms so she is facing him.
J: Did he hurt you?
C: No, he just pissed me off. What did you go to Lucky when I wasn't back in an hour?
J: Yeah. Then he starts going all high tech with me. Trackers & Two ways Carly? What is that all about?
C: Well, we work in Vegas Jason, and we have a psycho Cassadine always after us. She has been quiet for awhile now, but she will always come after Spencer's. We are just prepared in case of anything.
J: Anything else I should know about?
C: I think we will continue to learn things about each other for quite awhile. We have been apart for over a year and a half Jase, there are a lot of things that we need to learn about each other. It's not that I don't trust you, it just a matter of where to begin and remembering what I did tell you and what I haven't. One day at a time, okay?
J: Okay. Now fill me in on Nick.
C: He grabbed me off the street while I was tying my sneaker. He didn't hurt me, he just wanted to talk. He said he loved me and wanted us to be together. I told him it was over and that I love you. I LOVE YOU JASE!
J: I wanted to kill him so badly, the thought of him hurting you.
C: Well he didn't, I am fine. We will deal with Nick together.
Jason pulls her into his arms again and she gladly slides up against him, enjoying the feeling of his strong arms around her.
C: I am so exhausted, and emotionally drained.
J: You want to go back to bed?
C: Ummm that sounds great, but first I am gonna go jump in the shower. Will you do me a favor?
J: Of course.
C: While I am in the shower will you call and order us a breakfast pizza from the shop down the street. The number is on the frig.
Jason kisses her forehead. J: You got it baby.
He pulls her up. J: Go get your shower, I'll get breakfast.
C: Thanks Jase, you're the best.
A half hour later, Carly is out of her shower and dressed in one of Jason's shirts. She comes out into the kitchen where Jason is putting a couple of slices of pizza on plates for them.
J: Just in time, come on sit down.
C: God this smells so good. I am starving!! She bites into her pizza, closing her eyes while a moan of satisfaction escapes her lips.
J: I have never heard of breakfast pizza before. I should have guessed you would find a way to eat pizza for every meal.
C: Hey it is good isn't it?
J: Yeah it's great. Do you feel better after your shower?
C: I sure do, now I just can't wait to crawl into bed, which I plan on staying all day!
J: Sounds like a plan to me.
They finish off their pizza and Jason stands and holds his hand out to Carly.
J: Come on let's get you into bed. Carly takes his hand and he leads her into the bedroom. He turns back her red silk sheets and she climbs in.
C: Aren't you joining me?
J: Yes, I am just gonna jump in the shower quick. I will only be a few minutes. He leans down and gives her a sweet kiss, then heads off to the shower.
Carly snuggles under the covers, and she feels the effect of the events of the morning. A smile forms on her face, when she thinks of how protective and gentle Jason was with her. He didn't try to force her to talk to him, he let her work out her anger first. She loved him for that. Most people tried to stop her from expressing her anger, which usually just resulted in a huge fight and someone getting physically and emotionally hurt. Jason really seemed to understand and except her and that was the best feeling in the world. She closed her eyes and started to drift off to sleep, when she felt Jason climb into bed with her. He pulled her up against him and wrapped his arms around her. She relaxed into his embrace, letting go of all the stress and giving into her exhaustion.
C: I love you Jase, this feels so wonderful. I have never felt more safe and loved before in my life. THANK YOU for taking such good care of me.
J: I love you to baby, I will always take care of you. Now get some sleep. I won't let you go.
The two fell asleep almost instantly. Both wrapped in each other's arms, shutting out the outside world with all its demands and problems. Two hours later, Carly wakes up feeling an overwhelmingly wonderful sense of contentment. She rolls over so she is facing Jason. Looking at his beautiful face, she can't help but smile. They had been through so much, and yet here they were together finally. She gently takes her finger and begins tracing his lips. God how she loved these lips, they way they felt on her skin, they way they made her just melt whenever they were pressed up against hers and the way they tasted. Wanting more than anything to feel those lips on hers she moves within inches of his mouth and slowly starts to kiss him. Enjoying the sweetness of him, she continues to run her tongue over his bottom lip. A moan escaped his mouth as he reacts to her kiss. Still half asleep wondering if he was dreaming, he began to kiss her back. He slowly opened his eyes, smiling to see that he wasn't dreaming, that Carly was right in front of him. He quickly grabs the back of her head and rolls her on top of him, all the while continuing to savor her lips and taste.
C: Hey darlin.
J: Hey yourself. What a nice way to wake up, I had a dream an angel was kissing me, then I opened up my eyes and saw it wasn't a dream. My own angel was right here in front of me.
C: Jase, I am so happy right now. I love you, I can't seem to get enough of you!
J: I'm glad baby cause I feel the same way. I look at you, and god when you touch me.....you send this electrical charge throughout my whole body, and every inch of me is screaming for you.
C: I have never felt this way before. I can't even put it into words, god what you do to me. She begins to kiss him, slowly savoring every sensation and enjoying the closeness between them.
Jason massages her back with his hands, loving the feel of her silky skin under his touch.
C: Make love to me Jase. I want us to be one.
Jason didn't hesitate and gently rolls Carly over so he is not on top of her. He moves his thigh between her legs, making room for himself. The moment between seemed magical, as Jason took her face in his hands and began to kiss her slowly and passionately. He wanted to show her how much he treasured her. With each touch Carly felt like her skin was on fire, she couldn't take her eyes off of Jason's, the connection between them was mesmerizing and she wanted this moment to last a lifetime. His mouth began to move down her neck, lingering on her collarbone. Carly's breath became ragged as Jason's mouth worked its magic.
C: Jason please fill me, please!
She reached down and guides him into her. He set a gentle pace then stopped stilling himself inside of her. Locking eyes with her, he smiles at her.
J: We are one baby, can you feel it?
She moves her head up to kiss his lips and whisper, C: Thank you for loving me baby! With that kiss he starts to move in and out of her wanting nothing more than to give her pleasure. He feels her tighten around him pulling him into her deeper, making him loose all sense of restraint.
J: God baby!
She grabs his hips, slamming him into her harder. He quickens his motion until he hears her scream and tremble beneath him. He opens his eyes to see the look of pleasure on her face, seeing this he spirals out of control, emptying into her and joining her in climax.
J: You know I could never let you go now!
C: You better not ever let me go! I'm in this forever, your it for me Jase!
J: I want you to know I will do anything to protect you and our love.
They kiss sealing their promises to each other, then collapse next to each other. Carly moves so she is facing him, resting her head on her hand.
C: I could stare at you forever ya know.
J: What's on your mind?
C: Nothing.
J: Carly, I can tell by looking into those gorgeous baby browns of yours, now spill.
C: You will ultimately need to be in Port Charles won't you Jase?
J: I am not going to worry about that now Carly, I told you I will work something out. Where you are I am.
C: When you first came back into my life I wasn't sure about us, if we could ever get back what we had. Now I realize that I could never be without you. I just have worked so hard on this club. I love my home and I love my business. I know I am sounding self-fish it's just I have never had anything of my own before, I am proud of it ya know?
J: Baby you should be proud of everything you have done. You are an incredibly strong women with a fantastic head for business. Before you go and start worrying why don't you let me work some things out first okay? I don't want you to give up anything. Just trust me for now okay?
C: You know I trust you Jason. We will just wait and see what develops.
J: Thanks baby. Do you have to go in tonight?
C: Well, do you know when we are leaving for PC?
J: Looks like tomorrow is the plan.
C: Okay then, I will go in for a little while to make sure things are okay and talk with Gia and Lucky. But we still have several hours before that, and I don't want to move from this bed. Let's just rest and be together.
J: I always like that plan, now get over here. You know I can't sleep without you in my arms.
She snuggles into his chest wrapping one of her legs over his thighs. The two fall back asleep for several more hours. The ringing phone wakes Jason and her leans over Carly to answer it.
J: Morgan.
L: Jason, is Carly there?
J: Yah man hang on. Hey Lucky think I could talk with you later?
L: Sure, stop by the club tonight.
J: Thanks man. Hang on I'll get Carly.
Jason leans down placing a kiss on Carly's forehead.
J: Baby, wake up.
C: Jase I want to sleep some more.
J: Carly honey, Lucky's on the phone for you.
C: She opens one eye squinting at him. Now?
J: Yes. He hands her the phone.
C: Talk
L: Well cous, you sound cheery. You weren't sleeping were you?
C: You know I was so what do you want?
L: Your coming in tonight right?
C: Of course.
L: We are gonna need to discuss some things, family things.
C: Is everything okay?
L: Well be fine, I see you later then.
C: Okay Lucky.
Jason sees the concern on her face. J: Hey, everything okay?
C: I'm not sure yet. Lucky wants to talk over some family things. I hope Helena isn't making her presence known again.
J: Ya know our visit to PC might be a good time to tie up ALL loose ends.
C: I like the way you think Morgan.
