Next Day:
Carly is awaken by the phone ringing.... what the hell time is it she thinks as she searches for the phone. "hello"
Gia: Hey girl, are you ready to shop?
Carly: I'm still in bed, and this is where I want to stay, I am not moving.
Gia: Do you mean to tell me that one visit from Jason Morgan and you are locking yourself away in your apartment, that's not the Carly I know and love.
Carly: Yeah, well after I came home; guess who made a surprise visit late last night?
Gia: No way, he didn't!
Carly: Oh yeah, but I took him down and pulled my gun on him. I think he knows who's in charge now.
Gia: Well alright then, get your ass up out of bed and into the shower, I will be up to get you in 30 minutes. We have some shopping to do!
Carly: Okay, I guess spending some money might help.
Gia: That's the spirit, now get going, bye!
C: bye
Carly quickly jumps into the shower and gets ready. She was gonna try her best to have a fun day shopping with Gia. She always loved their shopping trips together.
Knock on the door. Gia and Lucky enter. Hey cous, you ready?
C: hey guys, yeah I am coming.
L: Gia tells me you had a visitor last night?
C: Jason broke in while I was working out - he tried to sneak up on me from behind.
L: I notice you said TRIED to sneak up on you? Did he regret that decision?
C: Oh I think so, I ended pulling my gun on him. I was really scared at first; I wasn't sure who the hell it was. One thing is for sure; it doesn't look like he is going to give up. I know I will have to set up a meeting with him soon and hear this so called truth he keeps talking about.
L: Well you girls just enjoy the day and we will worry about Jason later. We can talk tonight at the club and decide what you want to do. So go on and have fun. I will see you both tonight, remember we have an important meeting tonight and the high stakes card game in the tower tomorrow night so you two will need to work the bar area. I will handle the preparations for the card game but can you handle the appointment for us?
C: No problem, I think we can handle it. What do you think Gia?
G: Absolutely...now lets go get some hot new outfit for tonight.
C: Great idea. The guys are usually easier to control when we have their attention on us.
L: Just not too hot, I don't want a lot of fights tonight. We need things under control tonight for the meeting.
Gia goes over and kisses Lucky, "oh honey, you worry too much, everything will be fine."
L: yeah, yeah, I have seen you two in action before remember.
C: Okay, cous, we are out of here. See ya tonight. (she gives Lucky a hug and kiss on the cheek)
Gia and Carly leave and Lucky heads over to the club to make sure things are set up for the card game this evening. He had a lot of big hitters coming to town for the game and he wanted to check that everything was in place.
Across town: Jason's Hotel
Jason's cell phone rings.
J: Morgan-
"Hey boss, Miss Spencer and Miss Campbell have left, they look like they are going shopping."
J: And where is Lucky Spencer?
"He headed for the club"
J: okay, Scott stay with the girls and keep me posted. I don't want them to know you are following them.
Jason hangs up and grabs his coat. He had to talk with Lucky alone, he knew if he could explain things to him that Lucky would help him with Carly.
FIRE & ICE CLUB:
Jason walks into the club and is greeted by a large man in a suit. (Security Jason thinks).
Robert (head of security): Can I help you sir?
J: I need to talk to Lucky Spencer, tell him Jason Morgan is here.
R: Just a minute please. (he picks up a cell phone and talks to Lucky) Right this way sir.
Jason follows Robert through the club. He starts taking a good look around the club - it was very impressive. He is noticing more than what he did last night when the club was so dark and packed with people. He can see Carly's touches all over the place. He notices a huge wall aquarium that runs the full length of the bar directly in back of it, he remembers Carly had a large aquarium in her living room. The color scheme is amazing, it totally done in rich blues and black. Very Carly he thinks to himself.
Robert: Mr. Spencer is in the tower, he points upward.
Jason looks up and sees a huge wall of windows. Boy these three sure out did themselves on this club he thinks to himself. He continues to follow Robert up a high spiral staircase. Robert opens the door for him and signals him to enter. Jason sees Lucky sitting on a red leather couch.
L: Jason, what do you want? Carly isn't here.
J: I know. I need for you to hear me out man. We were good friends at one time and I need for you to just listen.
L: Okay talk.
J: That night when the three of you left for Vegas. Carly was mislead into believing something that never happened.
L: So Carly just imagined seeing Liz in her underwear standing in your living room?
J: What?
L: Come on man, I am not Carly, you don't have to lie here.
J: Lucky, listen to me. Francis came to me the other night with some information. He led me over to Sonny's penthouse where we both overheard, Sonny and Liz talking about how they had gotten rid of Carly and set her and I up. They intentionally set out to break us up and get Carly out of my life.
L: So why has it taken you this long to come and find Carly?
J: After you left, I was arrested by the FEDS. Sonny told me Carly had been the one who gave me up and that is why she had left. He had me so turned around, and I believed him. I had thought Carly betrayed me. So for over a year now, Carly and I both thought we betrayed each other. We have both been suffering apart for no good reason. I love her Lucky, and I have missed her so much. I want her back.
L: Wow. So Francis can back this up?
J: Yeah. Do you believe me?
L: Actually yes. God we all know what Sonny is capable of, and Liz, well let's just say I am not surprised. Carly was always right on the money when it came to her. My cousin helped me open my eyes to Liz's tricks and games. So what is your next move?
J: I was hoping you could talk to Carly for me, or maybe set up a meeting between us.
L: I'll tell you what man, give me a few days. Things here are really crazy right now. We have some heavy things going down the next few days. I can't have Carly off her game now. After we wrap up some business, I'll talk with her.
J: Lucky, I don't know if I can wait a few days.
L: Jase, listen. This is Carly's business as well as mine. A lot is at stake right now. Just relax okay?
J: I'll try - thanks man.
They shake hands and Jason leaves the club. He heads out for a walk to think. How the hell was he going to wait a few days. He needed Carly back now, they had been apart for far to long. He decides to go grab some dinner and then go back to the hotel and change. He was going to go back to the club tonight and talk to Carly one way or another.
Later that night at Fire & Ice Club:
Carly and Gia are stocking the bar and going over the plans for the evening. Lucky is meeting with the security team making sure that things run smoothly for the appointment they had later on.
G: Ya know tonight is a full moon. I think things are going to be intense here tonight. How are you feeling?
C: I'm fine. I had fun today, thank you for making me get my head out of my ass and wake up! I am not going to let Jason Morgan have control over me or my life. I am in charge of things, not him.
G: That's my girl. Who do we have on tonight?
C: We've got Kimberlin, Josie, Maggie, and Shawna at the bar. You and I will cover back up and act as coolers if we are needed. If things start to get rowdy we will stick to our usual and try to get the attention on us at the bar and hopefully keep fights down to a minimum.
G: Sounds great. Shall we crank some tunes and unlock the doors?
C: Let's do it chica!
Gia turns the sound system on and motions for Robert to open up shop for the night. There is a huge line already formed outside and the crowd starts shuffling in. A few hours go by and things are running smoothly. Money and liquor are flowing freely and the girls have only had to break up the start of one fight. The bartenders have danced a few songs on the bar already to settle the crowd down, and that seemed to be working nicely. Carly and Gia are now behind the bar working the crowd, when Jason walks in.
Jason spots her immediately, god how could you miss her. She was looking so incredible. Her skin just seemed to glow. She was wearing her hair down with lots of curls framing her face. She was facing away from him and he noticed that the top she had on left her back exposed. He wanted to rush over there and take he in his arms and run his hands over her silky skin. He couldn't wait to feel her bare skin against his again. He manages to sit down at a table and plans to sit back and watch her for awhile.
Gia spots Jason first out of the corner of her eye. She grabs Carly's arm.
G: Caro, don't freak out on me, but Jason just walked in and is sitting at the corner table.
C: Great! She turns to see Jason smiling at her. She gives him a disgusted look, then turns to Kimberlin and tells him to take a beer over to him and tell him to drink up and leave.
Kimberlin delivers the beer and message. Carly can see Jason laughing and talking to Kimberlin. She comes back to the bar.
K: He said thank you for the beer. But if you want him to leave then you will have to either talk to him or throw him out yourself - he said he would like that cause you would have to touch him to do that.
C: Carly starts seeing red! That bastard. Gia, can you believe this guy?
G: Well he is persistent I will give him that.
C: Hey who's side are you on here?
G: Yours of course - now what are you gonna do?
C: Nothing.
The night is progressing and Carly can feel Jason's eyes on her burning holes through her. Finally she turns to Gia and says. I can't take much more of this. I need a distraction. Gia smiles knowing Carly wants to dance and loose herself in the music.
G: Do you have a song in mind?
C: Oh yeah. Carly goes over to the sound system and puts in Brittany Spears "Stronger". She wanted Jason to listen to the words and see that she was the one in charge! She cranked up the volume and the crowd quieted down as Gia and Carly jumped up onto the bar to dance. Once they were on the bar a huge cheer erupted.
Lucky heard the noise and looked out into the club seeing Gia and Carly on the bar dancing. "Uh No those two are at it again" he laughed and went back to work, knowing the girls were having a good time.
Jason's eyes were glued on her. What was she up to?
Carly heads over to the corner of the bar closest to where Jason is sitting. She gives him a huge fake smile then starts swaying her hips and moving to the music. All the while she has her eyes locked with his. She is determined to him she is not his property and that he cannot rattle her. Gia is on the opposite corner wowing the crowd.
Jason watches her, god she was killing him. She was so beautiful. Carly could always dance, but now she just has this incredible confidence about her. He feels himself starting to become aroused as she shimmies up and down the all the while running her hands up and down her body.
Carly raises her hands over her head and rotates her hips. She closes her eyes and gets lost in the music. She runs her hands down over her breasts and thighs and drops to her knees. She starts rotating her upper body, letting her hair fall all around her.
The song stops and the crowd erupts. Carly and Gia grab the mike and yell "BAR'S OPEN!" The girls are overwhelmed with orders. Just the way they liked it.
Nick approaches the bar and Carly. Jason watches on as Carly gives this guy a big smile. She seems to be flirting with him.
Nick: Hey there sexy.
C: Hey Nick, how are you tonight?
N: Better after that dance - you were great as usual. (he starts rubbing her arm) Can you take a break for a dance with me? We haven't danced in a long time.
C: Carly looks over his shoulder and see's Jason watching with his jaw clenched. She know this is driving him crazy. She thinks maybe she will up the ante a bit. "Sure, I would love to, let me put on a song for us" she forward the Brittany 's CD to "Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know".
She and Nick head out to the dance floor and Nick pulls her tightly up against him. They begin to sway with each other. Carly closes her eyes and can't help but think how she used to dance with Jason, the way he made her feel, his hands on her body.
Jason can't take it any longer - this guy had his hands all over his woman, HIS Carly. He had enough. He jumps up from the table and heads straight for Carly.
He grabs Carly away from Nick and pulls them apart.
J: Enough Carly!
C: What the hell are you doing Jason? I can dance with anyone I choose. You don't own me.
J: I know that but I LOVE YOU! We have to talk NOW!
Nick is pissed; he pushes Jason away from Carly. "BACK OFF MAN" Jason shoves Nick back and Carly can see that punches are gonna fly anytime now. Carly steps in between the two of them.
C: Don't you dare pull this crap here. You both know I can take you both down, so I suggest you get yourselves under control, I am not going to have this shit in my club. She turns to Nick. " I am going to go talk to him and I will catch up with you later."
N: Are you sure about this? You don't have to go with him.
C: I know, I will be fine.
N: Caroline, I am gonna head out then I will check in with you tomorrow.
C: Okay
She spins around to face Jason. Alright you win, come with me. She grabs Jason by the arm and drags him through the club to a private back office.
