I am Vishal Vasant Prabhu! Single, Konkani, Indian.
I am working with Deloitte (Deloitte & Touche USA LLP), one of the Big Four Consulting companies, since Feb 2004. I graduated with a Masters degree in Computer Science and Engineering from University of California, Irvine (02-03); I worked as a software engineer with Torry Harris Business Solutions, Bangalore (2K-02); I received my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology (96-2K batch).

From Kindergarten till 4th standard I studied at St. Teresas, Mumbai, 5th to 10th std at A. K. Joshi school, Thane, 11th & 12th std at V.G. VAZE College, Mulund. I briefly (for a couple of months) enrolled for and studied in the Mechanical Engineering discipline at Sardar Patel College of Engineering, Mumbai, but later decided to pursue Computer Science in MIT.
I live in Irvine, Orange County, a beautiful city in Southern California.
My primary interests include travelling, making friends, swimming, analyzing problems (any kind), browsing through the latest news, and cracking poor jokes (PJs) followed by loud laughter(mostly I am the only one laughing!).
My family includes my grandparents, parents, a very mischevious but dear younger sister and of course Rocky our pet dog.
Some of my nicknames - Munna, Kanang, Bodhun to name a few.The latest one is Hydro!
