Nextlinx
Trade collaborator is an integrated
solution for importers and exporters. It is an advanced import transactions
processing and shipment management system capable of processing purchase orders
for pre-import screenings and product related validations. Subsequent to the purchase
order receipt, actual shipping information may be electronically uploaded or
manually created. The system houses a
multitude of importer and regulatory compliance tables and business logic which
serve to validate incoming shipment transactions, applies classification and
value related information for Customs, applies OGA applicable information, and
other data as required for Customs declarations processing. The import module also enables splitting and
consolidating of shipments for logistical management as well as track multiple
delivery orders generated against shipment files.
The NextLinx export module is an export system that handles export
license determinations, denied party screenings, generates export shipping
documentation and processes export transactions for international trade.
Assisted the
architect in developing a framework to build the Trade Collaborator System.

Knowledge Base is a set of Transactional engines that use HTTP/XML model
for International Trade Logistics content delivery.
· Technical
Lead responsible for capturing the business rules necessary for calculating
Customs Duty, VAT, Excise and other Governmental taxes. Responsible for writing ASP scripts to parse
incoming content, create business logic to calculate Government Tariff and
write code to integrate all application logic into a larger XML framework for
an instantaneous request-response transactional engine.
· Created a
browser-based bug tracking system for Customers as well as NextLinx
employees. Users can log securely on a
web site and view, monitor and create bugs and generate reports for changes,
bug fixes, and version control of the entire NextLinx product suite. Additionally the application was designed
with the capability to automatically create and send email to all concerned
parties regarding bug status.
