Traveling to the beautiful countryside of Kentucky was an added bonus for me on this trip, the assignment was likely to keep me on my toes as the lady in question is rarely still for 2 moments at a time.
Schanc was born in Princeton, KY & is 1 of 5 children, the only girl! Her early years were spent on a farm where her folks kept pigs & cows & grew tobacco crops, she loves country living & also acquired an extensive knowledge of gardening & canning while growing up. SC now resides in Henderson, KY with her husband of 16 years, they have 4 children & are the very proud grandparents of a new grandson, 15 fish, 2 dogs & 2 cats complete the family.
Cosmetologist is the trade SC has behind her but she says she�s been lucky & tried her hand at many things and that keeps life interesting, she now drives a school bus and after taking a peek at the clock invited me along for the ride to pick up the kids & deliver them to their homes.
It felt like a return to youth for me to be riding a school bus and I immediately headed for the back seat as soon as the doors were opened, Schanc just smiled, fired up the engine & headed off to town.
The next thing I remember is waking up to a hovering circle of shining innocent faces with sparkling eyes & the sound of the odd muffled giggle which wouldn�t have been such a shock to the system if I wasn�t also sharing my shirt with something cold & slimy. Schanc was watching the whole scene in the rear vision mirror & as she caught
my eye she just shook her head & said �Keep smiling! Makes everyone wonder what you�re up to!!�
Music & crafts are a couple of the interests Schanc really enjoys, she is a member of the City Council & 1 of her duties there is organizing the local Festival, she also has a keen interest in camping & boating and 1 of her favorite places to be is the river where the family has a camp.
Doublecross was the game that 1st attracted SC to flipside & she�s been playing there for 1 & � years now, she was invited to join a poker tourny & hasn�t looked back since.
She added that she loves her Phoenix Rising family & friends and enjoys meeting & playing with new people, her fun personality and mature outlook on life make any conversation with this lady a delight and if you�re looking for a challenge sit at a table with her one night, you�re sure to know you�ve been in a game.
