Traci walks over to Tre taking his arm as they head towards the ring smacking the signs out of the hands of fans along the way just fueling their already boiling hatred for them. The duo then stops just before entering the ring, Tre takes off his sunglasses and hands them towards a youngster in the front row, just before he can take them from the hand of Tre he pulls them back, smiles with his ever so arrogant grin and puts them back on his face as he steps up to the ring apron. Now with his back against the ropes he then rests against the ropes again and takes his bottle of water, twists off the cap, and drenches the front row of people in front of him. He then carelessly tosses the bottle into the crowd before grabbing the top ropes and flipping into the ring. Traci slowly walks up the ring stairs, along the apron, and enters the ring between the second and top rope. Once in the ring Tre removes his sunglasses and chains leaving them in the care of his valet. Wrestlers Biography = Tre Crawford was born on the 17th day of June in the year nineteen hundred and seventy eight inside a hospital in Long Beach California. His troubles began shortly after birth when complications during the labor took his mother away from him before he could even be held by her for the first time. His father, Terrance Crawford, before this was a hard working man and was extremely happy about being a father. However after the loss of his wife, instead of working hard for a living he fell victim to a crack addiction. The government would send them a welfare check bi-weekly and the money would always go to support the addiction rather than supplies that the new born Tre needed. After about three weeks of this, the grandmother of Tre took him away from his father and he began to live with her. Shortly after the move had taken place, Terrance overdosed and joined his wife in the after life, leaving Tre with no memory of his parents. His grandmother set out to teach Tre good morals and spiritual values, which worked well until Tre left this sheltered life style for his first year of middle school. It wasnt until then he got his first glance at what it was like to get paid, and with the promise of quick money Tre began hanging out with one of the many local gangs of the area. The older members of the gang were by this point considered hardcore thugs, and they found it to be very beneficial to have a 12 year old child run drugs for them. Of course at this time Tre was not getting paid as much as he should have been, but for a child the $500 a week was more than enough to keep him happy. As the money started rolling in, Tre began to stay out for days at a time and he also began missing school on a regular basis which led to a confontation with his granmother leading to Tre being thrown out onto the streets. Usually this would scare a child into a quick changing of their ways, but with his street credintals he was welcomed into the gang leaders home and before you could snap your fingers he was the leaders number one man. With this title, he began to get a significant pay raise, and his name became one that would strike fear into the hearts of all the rival gangs. Tre seemed to have all the money, power, and respect a man could ever dream of and he hadn't even reached the age of 15 yet. On his 15th birthday, a few members of the gang bought a quarter ounce of the chronic and a fifth of Alize to celebrate with. During this party a rival gang decided this was a perfect chance to attack and pulled a drive by shooting leaving three of Tre's closest brothers dead. The rest of the gang began to plan their retaliation, and Tre was more than willing to do his part. Once the plan had been drawn out, Tre and another young member of the gang strolled into a parking garage where they boosted a Lexus to use in their version of the drive-by. Perhaps it was the Mary Jane that impared his driving abilities, or it could have been the fact that he had never driven before, but just two blocks outside of the parking garage the blue lights began flashing. Tre stomped on the gas and ran for about 10 more blocks before he was stopped by a spike belt. The other member had managed to escape by running away, but Tre just sat still with his eyes as red as blood. Once he was in police custody, he was charged with Driving under the influence, resisting arrest, possession of marijuana, possession of an unliscensed firearm, and perhaps the most serious of all was the grand theft auto charge. During his questioning, they offered him a reduced sentence or house arrest to give the name of his accomplice and the other members of the gang who had put him up to the theft. Tre just sit quietly choosing not to be a Narc and to take his punishment like a man. His bail was set at 50 grand, and nobody showed to get him out, so he just sat behind bars and awaited his court date. Usually when a person first goes in front of a judge, the judge is a bit more leniant when it comes to the sentencing. However in the case of the State vs Tre Crawford, it was well known that Tre had refused to cooperate with the authorities so he was handed the most severe of punishments which landed him in The Long Beach Juvenile Corrections Facility until the day of his 18th birthday. On that day he is to go before the judge again, and should the judge feel that progress has been made with him then he would avoid doing any time in prison. However it was stated that if he had made no visible improvements in attitude and ect. that he would serve five years in the state prison. Once the judgement had been made, Tre turned his head to see just how many of his "brothers" had came to support him, he was shocked and crushed when the only person he recognized there was his grandmother. As Tre was being escorted out of the court room, he was stopped by his grandmother who slapped him across the face and told him that if he straightened up his life he would be welcome back in her home when the sentence was up. Walking out of the courthouse feeling like his life had no meaning, he stepped onto the bus fearing the worst. While on the bus with the other Juvenile Deliquents, he quickly made a few friends and once they reached the facitily he realized that it was nothing like he had it pictured in his mind. While there were many activities within the facility to keep a person entertained, Tre focused on lifting weights. A few months later during one of his regular work outs, he was approached by one of the guards who told him that a prisoner who was scheduled to box had been relocated and asked if Tre would be interested in taking his spot later that night. Even though he had never really boxed before, Tre figured that it wouldn't hurt anything to try so he agreed and knocked out his opponent in the second round. The guard who had approached him earlier sat him down after the bout and told him about the boxing program they offered. Since Tre had enjoyed himself in his first fight, he agreed to continue with the guard as his trainer. Before long he had established himself as the best boxer in the state, he was having articles written about him in the paper, and had seemed to find his true calling. On the night before his 18th birthday, Tre had his last fight within the corr ectional division and as he knocked his opponent out had finished his career with an outstanding 48-0 record, all the wins came by knock out. Now the day had came where Tre was to go back in front of the judge, he was accompanied by his trainer and correctional facility guard who had vouched for his progress and Tre was released. Now at the same time, Mike Tyson had been released from prison and was looking for someone less main stream to have a return bout against in Caesars Palace. With Tre's resume speaking for itself, he was granted the bout, and as he began training he became more and more confident in his abilities. When fight night came around, Tre had convinced himself as well as many of the boxing fans that he was going to shock the world. However when the time came, Tre had dropped the ball as he found himself getting knocked out less that one minute into the fight. This ended his boxing career, now without the promise of a future, Tre found himself getting back into the street life that had caused him so much trouble before. One day as he was working out in a local gym, he ran into Tiny Lister, who was a bit of a legend in Long Beach because of his tenior with World Championship Wrestling as Z-Gangsta. After a conversation with him, Tre decided to look into a career in the sports entertainment industry, and after training with Z for a few months he was accepted into a farm program for Impact Championship Wrestling. After about five months within the training federation, Tre finally got a call and was scheduled to meet with ICW president David Whitby. After the meeting Tre had finally broken into the wrestling world as a masked character from Tombstone Arizona by the name of Soul Assassin. Tre was never happy about hiding his identity behind a mask, and he wasnt pleased with being jobbed night in and night out, but it gave him a paycheck so he kept on performing. About three months later, due to financial problems, Whitby was forced to hand the company over to Brad Thomas. Mr. Thomas had been impressed with the work ethic of Tre, and let his lose the mask and gave him a spot in one of the biggest storylines going at the time. The storyline had Tre teaming up with ICW hero and hardcore champion Ryp Fandango, and another new comer to the federation Sean Cage. Together these three men formed a stable called The Select. In Tre's first match as a member of the stable, him and Fandango won the tag team championships and began what would soon become a strong friendship. This alliance proved to be a very strong alliance, each member managed to mount up win after win until they were feared by all. I am not speaking of a "wet your pants" fear, this is more like the fear of knowing that you are going to get your ass handed to you. The fear of knowing that you were not going to leave the ring with your head held high, deep down knowing that you may not be able to leave the ring under your own power. This went on for around six months before Ryp Fandango broke his wrist, which forced him to forfeit both his hardcore and tag team titles. Luckily for Mr. Crawford he was able to keep the tag team gold with Sean Evans as his partner, and he was the first in line to challenge for the hardcore title that Ryp had left vacant. Tre now found himself facing off against the man who had broken his best friends wrist and put him out of action for the vacant title. Tre managed to win the title in a very hard fought match, and as he was handed his first bit of singles gold the crowd began to chant for Ryp, seemingly ignoring the major accomplishment Tre had just completed. This made Tre and Sean both question their worth as competitors and lead to a master plan where they would turn on the returning Ryp to get the recognition they felt that they deserved. In Ryps first match back, Tre and Sean made their way to the ring to make what everyone thought was an assist, and ended up beating Fandango to a bloody pulp in the center of the ring. As Ryp lyed there motionless in a large puddle of his own blood, the thousands in attendance began to show their displeasure with these actions by shouting obscenities and throwing beverages towards the ring. As each bit of liquid splashed from the surface of the mat onto the bodies of Tre and Sean they began to smile in a very disturbing manner. From that moment on each and every person viewing the show that night realized that these two men were in fact a very dangerous combination and with their blatant disregard for human compassion everyone soon saw that the two men were going to be the top heels in the federation. Now that the act of treason had been carried out, the true goal for them was to get Ryp in the ring with Tre to settle the score for good with the hardcore gold on the line. Still to this day noone knows why, but Ryp would never accept Tre's challenges. With every challenge came a shameful decline from Ryp, and after so many weeks of losing matches because of Tre he still just burried his head and walked away. Both men have long since gone their seperate ways, to this day a true fan of wrestling can only wonder what would have happened had the two faced off in the ring. Once Tre had left GCW, he was recruited by a small up and coming indy federation called the EFW. It was here that he first met the true competition, household names such as Colin Zale, Buff Burge, Jason Sensation, and Tukay Lionheart occupied this federation, I am sure that there were more but for some reason my memory will not allow me to think back that far. It was in this federation that Tre had some of his most memorable matches to date. All of which came from a feud he had going with Jason Sensation. Any true fan of wrestling owns most of the epic battles they fought out in the squared circle on DVD by now, they set the bar for the rest of the federation. Eventually after Tre had beaten Sensation time and time again, he was granted a title shot and soon had the World Heavyweight Championship around his waist. Tre held the title for the longest time, opponent after opponent would step up only to fall to his devistating Silencer. After so many title defenses, Tre had been labeled as The Perfect Weapon a name which has stuck with him to this day. With the title around his waist, Tre seemed invincible, that is until the owner took it upon himself to screw Tre out of the title and hand it to his brother Buff Burge. This enraged Tre and most of the roster and ultimatley led to the federations demise. From there Tre got word of another federation that was making its mark on Primetime Television, the name of this new fed was PTIW. Tre entered PTiw and began at the bottom of the ladder yet again. After some questionable jobs, he finally began to slowly move up the ladder. Before you could say pimento cheese, Tre had the prestigious World Title from this place also. He held this belt up until he got word that Anthony Buckingham was attempting to sell out PTIW, thinking it was a can't lose investment Tre decided to forfeit the title and take over as the owner of the federation. Tre gave the federation more promise than it had seen in a long time. Everything seemed to be going in the right direction, until one day his staff decided to disappear and Tre was left running the federation solo. Now as anyone who has had part in the front office of a good federation knows, Tre couldn't keep it going by himself, so Tre had to cut his losses and close the doors forever. Around this time retirement seemed to be the best option for Tre. He sat idle for almost two years before he got a call from a long time collegue and new federation owner Quentin Barnes. Figuring that he still had some gas left in his tank, Tre decided to take his eight figure offer and take the PPW by storm. Starting off Tre felt that he was still invincible, he was quickly put in his place after losing his first match to Little Devil. After the match Tre had to do some serious soul searching, it was then an event happened that would take him to the top yet again. On the second broadcast Tre ran into an old foe by the name of Colin Zale, this reunion seemed to light a fire under Tre that hadn't been seen since his days in EFW. After this meeting, Tre would begin one of the most ruthless win streaks in wrestling history. He completely terrorized the entire roster, and as he was crowned the first ever PPW champion, he had also helped the shows ratings be the top every week, and he had made Quentin more money than he could have ever dreamed of. With all this in mind, Tre will forever be know as Mr. PPW. Quentin Barnes will never admit this of course, bu t he is still in denial. He cant comprehend the fact that a man he had tried to beat so many times and failed could put his federation on the top of the ratings ladder. After leaving PPW, Tre found himself in a place called Pro Organized Wrestling or POW. He had a more than impressive run here but really the only positive to come out of it was the experience his valet was able to gain ringside. After a few attempts at intimidating the staff it became their mission to drive Tre out of the federation and this dream for them was made a reality after he accepted a "Buy Out" from his contract and superkicked the Chairman back to the 1700's. Of course this landed Tre in jail briefly, he posted bail before he even reached population and was ordered to attend anger management classes for a third time. Below is an image of the design on Tre's tights, boots, and back of his jacket. This is also the design used on all his marketable assets through the company. |
