Public Policy and Taxation program, which was established in April 1996, is a special graduate program tailored to the needs of World Bank scholarship Bank scholarship students who are currently working in the field of tax administration and related areas in developing countries. This was jointly developed and is run by the International Graduate School of Social Sciences at Yokohama National University, the National Tax Administration of Japan Ministry of Finance, and the Economic Development Institute of the World Bank

The master's Program for Indonesian Government-dispatched Students was Finance, and the Economic Development Institute of the World Bank established in April 1999 in response to the joint request of the Japanese Government and the Indonesian Government. The Ministry of Education, Science, Sports and Culture (Monbusho) has been strongly supporting the Indonesian government scholarship students since 1985 and the Overseas Economic Cooperation Fund Japan started in 1989 to make a loan to Indonesia for the development of human resources there. The International Graduate School of Social Sciences at Yokohama National University established this program at the request of Monbusho and Japan-Indonesia Science and Technology Forum (JIF) after a long and earnest discussion. This is a special graduate program for the Indonesian Ministry of Finance and for the National Development Planning Agency of the Government of Indonesia.
