Q. What is Operation Neopet Adoption?
A. Operation Neopet Adoption is a project that I, Silver, started when I joined PinkPoogleToy.com. Since I work there, and post news on the front page, I knew that if I said something, thousands of Neopians would know about it. Operation Neopet Adoption's goal is to adopt weak, unwanted pound pets, train them ((and maybe even change their color and species)), and give them to loving owners.
Q. How many pets have you helped?
A. I have helped 3 so far, and SydneyTopia is going to a good home soon.
Q. I want to adopt a pet! What do I do?
A. N-mail me with a reason why you should get the pet. I will then let you know if you have been chosen.
Q. Can you tell me what happens to the pet every day?
A. I have TONS of people n-mail me everyday, wanting to adopt the pet. NO. Look at PinkPT.com every day for updates.
Q. I haven't heard back from you. Why are you ignoring me?
A. I rarely ignore people. I am either very busy replying to other n-mails, and will get back to yours soon, or I am busy with school and haven't been on at all. Please be patient.
Q. I want to know if I'm on your "list".
A. Sorry, can't do. I pick an average of 16 people from the 50-100 applicants, and post that list on PinkPT.com, then the list of 6 or so people. After that, it's the winner.
Q. Will you let me be _________'s owner if I give you cool stuff, like dubloons, faeries, and paint brushes?
A. NO. I don't accept bribes. I pick the people who seem to be the best owners.
Q. I've been picked! Now what?
A. You'll receive a n-mail from me, telling you what to do.
Q. How do you transfer pets safely? Is there some secret web page?!
A. No. The only way to transfer pets, unfortunately, is to abandon and adopt as quickly as possible. It helps to have AIM, so we can communicate. And I always recommend having about 1000 NP ready to adopt the pet.
Q. Well, I don't really want to adopt one of your pets. I want to help a Neopet by myself, but do it for Operation Neopet Adoption. What can I do to help you?
A. First of all, good for you! It's great to know people care about helping Neopets. For starters, you can join my guild. Everyone helps each other out there by saving up for map pieces, codestones, etc. That way, if you're stuck, we can help you!
Q. Can I post stuff about my pets on PinkPT.com?
A. No, sorry. I am the only one that is allowed to post stuff, other than Neopets-related news. And I cannot post stuff about your pets. This includes Beauty Contest, Captions, etc.
