we celebrated our wedding anniversary in true kerala style.. i took leave from office in the afternoon and headed straight to lulu hypermarket to get a gift (a dvd radio cassette recorder) for sunitha.

after that i rushed home, to find a grand 10 item sadya served in banana leaves.. mmm.. really nostalgic.

after that in the evening we went to the temple in bur dubai.. it didnt have anything to be called a temple other than lot of idols of gods and the fragrance of agarbathi lingering in the air.

just after that sunitha's chappals called strike and she was hardly able to walk with the broken footwear that too clad in a sari. so we cancelled our outside dinner and dashed back home and ordered a pizza from pizza hut.

first amongst those who wished us was kavimaman. he stayed at an internet cafe in pondicherry to wish us immediately after midnight. then calls came in from swapna, amma, sunitha's parents, sms from sandeep, rekha, apootan.
