My new experince was with a red satin that went on a hunger strike for 3 1/2 weeks! She ate hay, then I tried to get her to eat ANYTHING. She would eat apples and fruity pebble ceral. Once she was eating the fruity peebles, I mixed them with the pellets and she eventually began eating. She lost almost 1 1/2 pounds but is now putting the weight back on fast. Just try to get them to eat anything possiable, they will lose some wieght due to lack of proper protien, but it will keep them going till they are ready to eat.
