Lots of Man fans on this list. I'm one of Pete's links. My Man page is at:

My page is a very annotated discography (with albums, liner notes, track listings, and other
information for each album). You can also link to Tim Whitcomb's "Welsh Connection" page which has
more recent information about the band (tours, coming and goings, etc.). There are also Man pages
in Spain, Germany, Scandanavia and even someone who has developed a Windows Plus Theme for Man.

Check out the documentary, circa 1996 and called, I think, "Theremin,"
about the inventor and the history of the instrument. There's a woman in
the movie who is a terrific theremin soloist, and the sequence with Brian
Wilson alone is hilariously worth the price of admission.

Hail and well-mondayed, folks,
I got a very annoying message from my ISP not long after I put up the latest Gone Orch./Ginny Landgraf MP3s on my ftp site. It went something like this:
"Hey you! You've exceeded your alotted bandwidth for the month. If you don't knock it off, we're gonna charge you tons of money."
So, friends and fans, I'm gonna try and stretch it until tomorrow, tuesday, for those that haven't heard these yet, and I promise I won't take 'em down until the last minute, but away it is they'll be goin'. Hey, I gotta save my cash for that cab ride to Woody's Deli or wherever it is, y'know?
So forgive me, and if you're interested, get over to
ftp://ftp.svn.net/pub/users/xf103rep and download like crazy while the fun lasts.
By the ol' way, the reason this is happening at all is that so many people have downloaded already. Or was it the same person a bunch of times? I won't name names...oh, okay, I will: Mike Keneally, Robert Abplenalp, Bebe Rebozo, Ponsonby Britt. There.

I happen to have mp3 files of Theme One and Killer on my hard drive right now. It sounds like Cozy tried to make a Jeff Beck record, or maybe a Colosseum II record. I like it. Both these songs are from Cozy's album called Over the Top.
Killer features the fast fingers of Gary Moore and Jack Bruce.
Then I started talking about E-Bay.

I agree - I have a friend who really has the Internet disease, and is up on E-Bay all the time, and he's made some really great deals there. So it works for some people. What I know about it is, I've been outbid on some Lexicon JamMans there. So it hasn't worked as well for me. The stuff that I have wanted has been bid very high, higher than even *I've* ever been before.

guitar work on pieces like "I Don't Want Your Money" or "Lowdown" on

Subject: gg: A short introduction!
Hi everybody!
I'm a 22 year old student of English language, a keyboard/bass player and a
fan of good music (i.e. GG!) from Finland. Actually, this is my second time
on the list. I was a subscriber in 1995-6 when I was studying journalism,
but when the one-year-course ended, I had to give up my only connection to
the net. So, no on-reflection for me...
But here I am, three years later, with an internet connection right on my
home computer. With the recent purchase of "Last Steps" and the constant
playing of "Octopus" I reminded myself that there once was a fun list on the
subject of GG. So I checked out Daniel Barrett's website (Wow, that's
grown!) to see if the list was still running. Sure it was!
[Fun fact: Some time ago, when I ran a query on AltaVista with my own name
(egoism?), the first hit was called "Champions of Rock". Although I consider
myself a capable musician, I thought this was a bit too much... I had posted
some info about the GG compilation CoR. Nothing else. :-) ]
I'm glad to say that the number of CD releases carrying the name GG has
grown significantly during these few years. Live recordings, unreleased
stuff... I've tried to keep myself updated with some of the most "important"
releases (Out of the woods etc). And I finally found the Terrapin release of
"Interview" in Sweden (hasn't it been out of print for ages now?), and
completed my collection of the "original" albums.
I was sad to find out that Martin Smith had passed away. And that the
reunion/convention thing had fallen apart. I remeber the enthusiasm and the
effort put in that project. Never saw the final fate of the event.
But, I'm glad to be back on the list. I remember that the general mood on
this list was much more positive and friendly than on the Genesis mailing
list (Paperlate) which I currently subscribe too (too much angry and/or
stupid people on Paperlate :-). I hope I remember correctly :-). BTW,
Genesis is my other "big G"...
Cheers,
