| Our U/9 Panthers - 2001 Kellyville Cup Winners. The first GWBA team to win the cup in its 10 year history |
| On Sunday October 28th the Panthers travelled to Kellyville to take part in an under 9`s gala day. There were 16 teams involved including representative teams from Gosford, Pittwater, Forest and Warringah. The boys played magnificently and won the final 18-14. This was the first time a team from G.W.B.A has won this most prestigious competition. The results were: Penrith 24 v Winston Hills 4 Penrith 24 v Greenway Giants 2 Penrith 15 v Warringah 22 Quarter Finals: Penrith 16 v Forest 10 Semi Finals: Penrith 18 v Warringah 17 Grand Final: Penrith 18 v Marlins 14 I`m sure the boys will continue to be committed to training and this should ensure their continued success.
