As soon as Mary
gave this answer, she became the Mother of God. It was in her womb
that Christ was formed, receiving from her a human resemblance which
points to an even greater spiritual closeness. The Second Person
of the Holy Trinity took to Himself a body and soul like ours.
He became human and dwelt among us.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee;
Blessed are thou among
women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus incarnate.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
