  GOD STILL SPEAKS

GOD IS LIVING!

The God of the Bible is not confined to the Bible. He was there from before the beginning of the universe itself, and he did not quietly pass away as the last page of the Bible was written. He is still alive, and he still wants to communicate with people. He continues to speak to us using the Bible.

GOD IS TRUE!

Everything God does is true to himself. He is consistent. We can rely on him. He is not fickle and changeable.
In the same way, everything God says is true. We can trust God not to tell lies or mislead us with false information. On the origin and standard of all truth. So when the Bible writers said that God was speaking through them, they believed that what they spoke and wrote was true.
The Bible is true because God is true-so it is completely and trustworthy. If we use it properly and carefully, it will not mislead us. Instead, it will show us the truth about God, the world, ourselves-and truth about how we should live.

GOD IS KING!

The God who made us has authority over us. Like a king (but far more than any human king), he has the right to command us and to expect our obedience.
When God spoke to people in the time when the Bible was written, he spoke with authority. And the Bible still carries the authority of God. In it God speaks to us as our maker and king. He claims our attention and demands a response.
